I usually watch his videos but then i noticed a trend among certain youtubers as they use repetitive words to reach the 10+ min mark for monetization purposes. Case and point: 1:21 -1:28 perfectly explains how Stopping power works on mags, instead of moving on they spend an extra 10 seconds to explain simple math of how 30-10 = 20. their audience may be young but not simple math young. furthermore, 2:38-2:43 they explain how in AR and Smg's the effect of stopping power reduces bullets to kill by one less (-1) but then they literally explain with an example how if a wep needs 5 bullets , it now comes 4 bullets!! WOW holyshit I'm losing IQ repeating this as I type it. I can't finish the video for fear of having an aneurysm. I'm not telling them to reduce their videos below the holy Grail 10 minute mark as that would be stealing from their hard earned cash, but at the very least make their filler paragraphs less repetitive as their will lose out on people who'd rather google it than listen to a repetitive cycle of how 2-1 came to be 1 in many ... many ...many different, dissimilar unalike unlike nonidentical contrasting divergent disparate poles apart incompatible mismatched inconsistent forms

Great point! When I first heard about Stopping Power being in the game I said "come on, seriously? This is going to be so overused and so overpowered", but I think they balanced it nicely. I personally would remove them if I had the choice (even though I use them) due to the fact that it causes a huge variation in time to kill, and I REALLY wish you could see when you died to it in the kill cam, but there's no use in asking for anything with Infinity Ward. 😑

Any gun will be better with stopping power. You get 2 mags worth of SP rounds and if you use them, you have a better chance of dropping enemies quicker, especially if they all are using full-auto as it chows armour and health instantly.

A thing to remember with stopping power is that it gives you as many rounds as a default capacity weapon would get, I.E. 7 rounds for the 1911, even if you have extended magazines. This ALSO means you can get multiple reloads of stopping power on like an SKS, a Striker with hollowpoint magazines, or an M4 with SOCOM rounds. Especially the SOCOM rounds, you get THREE whole mags worth of that insane shit.

I think Stopping power rounds just deal the same dmg to armor but do 33% directly to your hp. Meaning that if you destroy 3 armor plates they immediately get downed.

I use SP rounds on my HDR along with Tune Up when I do some Ground War games and I practice long distant shots for Warzone. It helps make the one shots more consistent on those across the map shots so it does have some benefits. It helped getting obsidian camo since it guarantees a kill at any range if you land your shot and wall bang kills at longer ranges.

I was getting 1 shot kills from across the map on scrapyard with the Oden. Stopping power is definitely overpowered and underrated. Use the tune up and Restock perks with FMJ. Damn!

I love stopping power on the MK2 because I can now 1 shot at pretty much any range with it. Throws people off when I drop 3-4 enemies super quick at long range. I also like using stopping power on my Deagle in Shoothouse because it’s a 1 shot kill to the chest, and if you’re using the Enforcer barrel, you can get that one shot kill from pretty far away. Deagle feeds are SUPER easy to get with stopping power.

Another thing with Stopping Power is that if you activate it and load it into your weapon and die immediately. Then you won't have stopping power available when you respawn BUT for something like Dead Silence it doesn't go away when you die. For example, if you activate Dead Silence and die right after you just activate it then whenever you spawn again you will still have Dead Silence available to use again, since you died right after activation. Stopping Power will go away even if you didn't shoot one bullet and go to waste but not dead silence

Here’s a free tip for using stopping power. I like to first get a kill/spray most of my bullets in the mag then use the stopping power as a free one time sleight of hand reload. It helps for sure for securing higher killstreaks and overall a better use of them

The X16 (Glock), 1911are amazing with stopping power in my experience, especially the glock becomes a 2 shot monster. It's decent on the M19 which can 2 shot to the neck and head and hard to use on the magnum and the deagle, they both have an increased one shot kill potential to the head and neck but it's simply too dificult to go for headshots all the time. It might be a placebo effect tho since i've never done any testing myself

Woah! The 357 magnum becomes a much more viable weapon with stopping power, the other pistols don’t need it but the slow fire rate of the 357 means that getting a one shot kill is important, at least until you have snapshot

Same. My stealthy anti-air class uses an EBR-14 with FMJ to take down streaks, which is one of the guns Ace said is really good with Stopping Power rounds. If the SP rounds also help me take down streaks faster, that would be even better.

I always thought it was actually helping me on the m2 carbine because it’s slower fire rate is not forgiving if you don’t kill them with the first shot and you are in a gun fight. Maybe it just was my class set up and range that I was having to 2 shot them at certain distances? I thought the stopping power helped reduce that to always get that one shot regardless but it must have just been helping with the range. Good to know now. I already have camos finished for that one thank goodness. M2 used to be one of my fav weapons in past games, but honestly not loving it in this cod.

Edit- just wanted to point out that yes even though sniper ax 50 and hdr power rounds may not seem that powerful on paper, but in terms of hit boxes, they do make the “hit markers from hell” go away in those insane long ranges and in ground war a one shot kill. I found this out doing a stopping power challenge and I needed to get Sniper kills just to pull it off since... you die and they are gone as soon as you reload your gun. I was sniping people looking like ants on my variable scope on all those maps.

I feel like when stopping power rounds is activated, it should just increase ALL damage multipliers, head, upper/lower torso and legs/arms. Just do increased damage all across the board if its going to have extra recoil with it

I use the EBR-14 and the ODEN with tune up. The combo is usually insane. Cant tell tho cuz all my rooms are controller breaking sweat fests.

If you have stopping power loaded and have to engage someone at range, mount a wall to try and fight the recoil

All in all, I feel they did a great job of balancing stopping power for the most part. I like the fact that stopping power doesn't affect the headshot multiplier, if it did every match would be lobbies full of players using SP and would also most likely cause more camping.

I wish there was an option for lmgs to add sp rounds every few rounds. Like every 5 shots the 6th is stopping power kind of like real life tracers

so stopping power is for agressive. but u just said it sucks when doing that. unless u mean if u got the drop on people then yes stopping power is good. but in head to head fights u almost always lose a gunfight. and i noticed it when i stopped using stopping power for a bit on my kar98k. it seemed i had a much better and easier time taking down targets and my kd was positive. plus with ammo crate i always had a nice topped up reserve. and my team also benefits from the ammo box. so its a hefty win win.

When I first seen this as an option I got super concerned because I was thinking this would rule the game because of stopping power perks of the past but seeing how it’s balenced I like it It has weaknesses

I stopped using it because of the busted ass spawns, it's bad enough that whenever i die from a random flank the kill cam has them just spawning, but to spend most of a TDM waiting then losing it straight away is infuriating, i'd rather get some guaranteed movement with silent footsteps.
