Speaking of elf, they’re launching a new satin foundation tomorrow! Should I try it out?

That would be so nice if you can review it! I was always a fan of the flawless foundation , but the CC cream hydration was such a let down.. at first application it looked so beautiful but it weared terribly!!! I tried the powder foundation as well but it was terrible on my dry skin, too heavy and cakey. Sometimes I use it as an setting powder over my foundation on places where I want more coverage and that works great! But then only in winter time. Elf is hit or miss for me 😅

The putty bronzers have a lighter shade called Feelin Shady that’s a great contour or even bronzer-contour (brontour) shade for fair skin!

Oh yay good to know! Thanks for watching 💕

@@lindseymunette you’re welcome!!! So happy I found your channel! I’m very fair too. I don’t have olive toned skin but I have a very cool undertone, and I’ve found a lot of what works on olive toned people will usually work for my very cool toned skin.

I love the Lash n Roll mascara, and the new tubing formula Lash Xtndr is really good too.

I am fair warm/golden and the fair shade 0 halo glow works much better for me than their original lightest fair shade 1. Lily in their older satin foundation is a pretty good match for me as well if that helps.

I tried the elf halo glow a while ago. The lightest shade was SO orange. I was upset bc i loved the formula. Elf really needs to revist the shade range on those. :/

Hi I'm so happy I found your channel! I really enjoyed this video As a fair girlie I'm having the hardest time finding a good bronzer I would love to see a Loreal review because I love the formula of their Infallible fresh wear foundation but I'm finding it such a challenge finding the right shade Much love Jamie-Alligator MS

I got both of the new shades of Halo Glow and yes - they are golden/peachy colored. Shade 0 is a lot paler but is peachy. You might like the green color corrector by Physicians Formula- it is very smooth and almost gives a luminous glow to the skin.

That’s disappointing to hear, but I’m always down to try a new green color corrector so I’ll have to check that physicians formula one out! 💚

I was at Walmart and wanted to try the halo glow foundation so bad, but even the lightest shade was too dark. I ended up buying their CC cream and almost got the satin foundation, but I got the lightest shade of the CC cream and would have needed the lightest shade of the satin foundation. Dang it, elf.

You are lucky you have normal skin. I can't find makeup that matches my skin. I'm not white, I am albino with patches of soft pink skin and everything looks like a fake tan on my skin even the porcelain color and pinkish white. Most makeup doesn't even stay on my skin doesn't matter if I set it. I found out I have albinoism in my 30s after my pain specialist took a skin biopsy to figure out if I have nerve damage. The albinoism doesn't affect all of my color but I have all of the sensitivities and handicaps that came with the disorder as well as the lack of hair growth as a child. I have some pink hair too with auburn on my head and it's uncombable. I was very surprised to find out I am albino. It does affect how my hair grows and nails as well as eyebrows. I do have a severe allergy to light and metals as well. I think my metal allergy affects my skin too so the makeup doesn't settle well and it causes my body to swell and itch. Even added potassium causes my body to swell and cramp up. And I need potassium but I have learned to not add it to my body. The doctor will give me a subscription if I need it. Though, I do like e.l.f products because they don't cause me issues like most brands do. I also like the eyeshadow palettes from NYX and their blush. Though, e.l.f is better because it's more affordable and great quality. I also bought makeup brushes from e.l.f and they are very soft and easy to clean, they work great. I am going to try again someday to find a full coverage makeup and try a different setting spray. E.l.f has a setting spray I haven't tried yet. I might have to get different colors of concealer and combine them to match my unique color. I can't even tan and I lost my freckles when I was a teenager. Albinoism is weird. 😊 I do think people who are on both ends of the color palette dark and light have a lot more difficulty finding a matching concealer. I don't have enough pink and purple in my skin color to match the products. At least you have pink skin, you can use the pale colors. I just need to keep looking. I might take pictures of my skin and put the color palette into my AI on my phone and it should dictate something that I can try. Also, why do you waste money and resources on products you are allergic to and you are promoting them even though you don't use them? You shouldn't put yourself in danger for profit because in the end you lose profit from having to pay for the damages. It's bad business practices and it's bad for your health so it makes no sense to use them or have an opinion on those products.
