Pretty consistent miss for Tissot with the digital prx and I have to agree it’s pretty bad, just a thought if it had been not an lcd display but rather an older retro red or green led display you had to push to activate would it have been more popular?

Fantastic video; I love being exposed to new watch geeks and their tastes! As an aside, does anyone else feel the urge to buy an Oris Kermit and a Rolex puzzle dial just because they’re maligned? We often see cars that were negatively received upon release being coveted decades after release when their quality was high but the design was abrasive, becoming much less so as time goes on. Could it be the same with certain watch models? Thoughts, feelings and opinions?

Hey James, my hydro conquest is 12.8 mm thick which I think is pretty good for 300 m of water resistance and a GMT... I would have probably chosen the bel canto however it came out in 2022...

Love the idea! Two (2) CONSTRUCTIVE COMMENTS: I STRONGLY SUGGEST, that every watch mentioned must be SHOWN on screen and that the channel names of each participant be also shown on screen! I just got my new TAG Blue Glass Box. Bad as TAG has been, the push to classic looks, function, and and style from the 60’s is great. I own a 1969 Baylor bi- pax with a bi-directional World Timer bezel…….(Heuer made a watch branded Baylor. Sold to Zales (where I got mine in 1969. (Got the info from Dan Henry who has an incredible site ) . Heuer makes fine watches, glad to see my watch mentioned 2 or 3 times. Another great idea Chris. Thanks

It’s tragic how most contemporary collectors and KZbinrs don’t have any understanding or education on champlevé enameling. Yes, the puzzle is quite ugly and bizarre, but the fact that Rolex is doing champlevé is crazy

Absolutely justified 👎🏻 for PRX digital (for its backward design) and MoonSwatch (for continuing to milk the over-manufactured hype). Poor Kermit... not the best effort from Oris, but not the worst offender out there either... I'd say it's uninteresting at best or at worst. Can't afford any of the best takes... all I can say is they're all nice in their unique ways. Out of all my acquisitions this year, the Hamilton field watch in bronze trucks on my heart's strings the most... I invariably want to daily this piece all the time, only to have to resist the urge simply to give my other pieces some love by rotating.

Man, I love collaboration videos on this topic. I love the fact that beauty is always in the eye of the beholder, and I love to see how different some of my favorite watch reviewers see beauty and the reasons why they like or dislike certain timepieces. Very nice collaboration with all the folks. I feel a lot less bad about my dislike of the digital PRX now. First thought on that one was that it looked like a bargain bin Timex or Casio. A few of the group also disliked the 'kinder garden' Rolex - yeah, that is a disappointment. Anyway - really a nice way to involve many of this hobby's bright lights. Well done, and thank you!

Interesting video. Ben's choice from Orient was such a great pick but how Orient shot themselves in the foot with this one. The misprinted dials caused a lot of pushback on what could be one of the affordables of the decade eventually. I'm still seeing a lot of faulty dials in ads for this watch but it's high on my list when they work through.

Interesting to see the Longines Hydroconquest GMT get a lot of attention but not the Spirit Zulu GMT. The latter seems to be more of a crowd pleaser but didn't capture the hearts of those here.
