I think you very well could be right. The only problem is injuries. Can never really tell because Corey Davis didn't play the same competition. Other than that there were no playmakers like Williams @ WR entering the draft. Can he stay healthy, think he had some neck issues. Some serious injuries from what i heard. I watched him in the Championship game & he put on a show.

All the WRs have their own problems tbh. John Ross has a past with knee injuries. Corey Davis just got hurt and will not perform at the combine which goes alongside his lack of competition. Dede Westbrook with the domestic violence past. It'll be interesting to see where all of them get drafted.

Bill has never spent a first round pick on a big flashy wide receiver. And why would he? Those kinds of guys are rarely super bowl winners. IF they got the 12th pick from Cleveland, Bill will trade back later into the first round for either DL or linebacker or BPA (but probably not receiver)

I'm just telling you it's not happening. They just orchestrated one of the greatest comebacks in sports history and they were missing their best offensive skill player. Now they seem to want to upgrade the depth at the X spot even though Hogan had a great year and was super reliable -led the league in yds/rec I believe. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring back Michael Floyd on a short term deal. But using the 12th pick on a receiver? I just don't see it.

Even with a season ending injury the first game of the 2015 season, Williams still managed to put together two 1000 yard seasons. He was much more consistent and overall a better WR. Dede has the big advantage in speed, but Williams has the edge in hands, route running, strength, blocking and using his hands off the line of scrimmage to beat press coverage.
