Gates of Hell is 75% off rn, I would HIGHLY recomend getting it. It's like Men of War II, but much, MUCH better. less arcade nonsense.

Ooooooo, I'll take a look. The multiplayer for this was fun, and really reminded me of playing tabletop games, like Flames of War and Warhammer 40k. Honestly, a 40k version of this game would be absolutely bonkers.

Men of War: Assault squad 2 has a AMAZING 40K mod, with multiple factions and unique vehicles and mechanics (Like droppods with space marines) @@Mr_Dancy_Pants

@@Mr_Dancy_Pants The MOW community thrives off of making mods so there is prob a mod for that in Call to arms, if not I know for a fact its in Men of was assault Squad 2.

If you think this Garbo is any good you have not played Call to Arms Gates of hell DLC the Actual Successor to Men of War.

I mean, I had a ton of fun playing this, especially the multi-player 5v5 modes. But I'll check out Call To Arms.

@@Mr_Dancy_Pants Sorry If I seem like a Son of a bitch, it is just the People who are making this game have made a game that is not true to the original at all, Further more I have gotten more KZbinr recommended to me that seem to have never touched the series giving there opinion of the game without seeing what it could have been, Gates of hell is a DLC to call to arms that was created by a Mod team of Men of war Assault squad 2 a Sudo Successor to the original Men of War. FYI regular Call to arms is not to the Men of war quality the Men of War community is used too thus call to arms in its purist of forms is shuned however an expansion to it Names Gates of hell that only Men of war fans seem to know about is of the coveted quality due to the creators of it being massive fans of the Original and MOWAS2 or short for Men of War Assault Squad 2.

I know it is also a beta but MOW 2 took almost all of its models from Men of war Assault squad and some mods.

@@datboitank2318 No worries. It's the internet. You should see the guy who commented on my "Gift For Winston" UBOAT video. I've only recently gotten to the point where companies are starting to give me games to review, rather than me shucking out money myself. I'm all for realism within games, as this channel was dedicated to UBOAT and IL-2 Sturmovik for a year or so. I've played a lot of arcade-style WW2 games in the past (Battlefield 5, Battlefield1942, World of Warships, War Thunder, Enlisted, Wolfpack 1990, and many others) and this was the first one that came closest to giving me the full range of views from individual unit control to an overhead battlefield perspective. Admittedly, I'd never even heard of Call To Arms until this came out, but the guy in the video with me, Ack Gun, did show me Men of War: Assault Squad 2, and it looked cool. Upon your and Cheezymuffin's recomendations, I did look up Call To Arms, and will be checking it out (especially since it's 75% right now). I don't hold any kind of snobbery when it comes to games. I grew up on Atari and Commodore 64. I just want a game to be fun, approachable for new players, and for any bugs present to result in hilarious animations and corpse-launches. For this game, Ack_Gun and I played a TON of the Player vs AI missions, many of which I streamed along with the tutorials and one of the things that impressed me was how fun and engaging the actual tutorial missions were. Those are over on my @mrdancypantstv channel. For what was basically a one-week open beta, I was impressed by the game. It was easy to pick up and they kinda walked you through it in steps during the tutorial (though using the tank destroyer in the tutorial was a pain in the ass because the dude couldn't shoot). I'm absolutely aching to get 4 other players in discord and dive into 5v5 games with a super sexy combined force, and I love that even with the specific regiments, you have the ability to customize them. I was definitely approaching this, not as a successor to a previous game, but rather as its own stand-alone experience that built off of the experiences the developers had from their previous games. Basically, for me, this wasn't like going from Sims 1 to Sims 2, it was like going from Sims 2 to Sims 3. But I'm just happy at this point that you watched the video for however long you did, because I'm still very much a small struggling youtuber, and need all the feedback I can get. Finding out what I'm doing wrong is the hardest part because if people don't like it, they generally just click away rather than telling me anything. ^.^

@@Mr_Dancy_Pants No problem you seem like a down to earth dude, if you like space combat and stuff like that, because I noticed you like War hammer there is a space based war hammer game that I love currently that does not get much love its called Battle fleet Gothic Armada 2 and if you are looking into Niche Strategy Games Star Wars has a Great RTS called Star Wars Empire at war like most RTS's in the modern era it lives off of Mods so I would recommend that if you you are looking into that 4x type of strategy games and if you are wanting to try out RTS's. As for wanting to get a grand 5v5 sadly at the current moment I won't touch the game with a 5 foot pole if anything even though it maybe free GOH has similar Mechanics and then some to this Beta release I think GOH actually goes up to 4v4 on top of that GOH has released a beta launch of there new DLC with the Americans. If you like realism and you Liked this Beta Launch Gates of Hell will Blow your mind, for instance if you get the DLC which should also be on sale you are capable of building Trenches, fox holes, MG nests among other things.
