as far as the mods i also wanted to say that i try to buy the best i can find,the cp piston and rod will last much longer than a numara piston,so i try to replace parts with the best parts i can find,i don't compromise,we need more people like you to share on some views on these issues,have fun..

My banshee came with aftermarket A arms and YFZ450 front shocks installed. Rides like a dream. I just installed a 2 into 1 Trinity carb kit and love it. The guy was selling the kit on craigslist and like your A arms it was just too cheap to pass up. He had to switch back to dual carbs because he was going with a stroker and port and polishing I wanted to increase the low end for woods riding, the 2 into 1 carb intake really helped give her some punch down low. I agree its all in what you want.

Nice bike man. First thing to go on mine was the junk stock filter doesnt take muck dust from a bad seal to wreck rings. I love banshee sound & power so to me a gd set of pipes, kn filter & jets are a must. That combo makes it run like a different machine. A pro design cool head and rad valves made nearly as big a difference and allow it to run cooler. Stainless lines, a wider lonstar axle and beadlocks or rienforcment rings widen it and make it more stable. Id say that doubled power if not more, i always ran motul premix 40:1 or richer. Never had to rebuild mine nor did woods riding foul plugs or over heat. As long as youre not winding it out on the highway it should last.

Sweet. I’m an above right knee amputee so I’m trying to find out, how I can convert a kick start banshee into an electric start? I can’t kick start anymore😞. Also. How could I tie my rear break into my hand break? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
@mikeperry83435 жыл бұрын
If you took your brake line off your front brakes and ran it all the way to the rear brake caliper you could use it for the rear. Of course it would take more fluid, and you would have to bleed it and all that but it would work. I think your best bet would be to split the main line coming of the front master cylinder into 3 individual lines. 2 for the fronts and one for the rear, then you could use all 3 brakes with one pull of the lever. Its not impossible, alot of motorcycle stunt riders run a rear break with a handlebar mounted brake lever.

Hey man! I'm looking into nerfs for my 01, ideally I would love to get a set with the integrated pegs and heel guards but I also gotta keep saving for college at this point haha. So I've been looking at ones similiar to what you're running and was wondering if you had any issues with fitment? Problem is that I still want to run the stock heel guards at least, and I'm worried about the part that wraps back around the peg hitting it. They clear the guard no problem? Thanks man! Sick bike by the way, nice and clean 🤘

Nice looking banshee but I don't understand the whole "don't jump a quad with stock suspension". my dad had a 87 banshee with j arms and never bent one and I own a 06 yfz 450 and jump the shit out of it, any driveway, road approach, or something I think I can jump I try.

Holding the throttle open leans it out burns off more of the premix, over revs, over heats and negates the cooling affect of the un ignited fuel on the piston head. Smoke is good in a 2stroke, the premix oil is also what lubricates the crank bearing...

Not necessarily true. Many bikes/cars have inherent weak points and/or cheaply/poorly made components that compriseor or limit performance/reliability. Ie; the nissan RB engine series has a oiling issue and crank collar issue from the factory and are essential mods. Just as the failure prone ceramic turbine upgrade.....
