In this video the 6.0 Bros talk about the newest generation of the 6.7 Powerstroke! The 2020 6.7 Powerstroke marks the 3rd generation of Fords 6.7 Powerstroke. The newest 6.7 Powerstroke updates came and we go over the big things that the 2020 6.7 powerstroke changes. The third generation 6.7 powerstroke upgraded many things such as the switch to steal pistons, different connecting rods, upgraded injectors, different 10 speed transmission. The fuel injection pressure is increased to 36,000 psi. I have a 2020 F450. This truck drives and tow like a beast. The 10 speed transmission is amazing. I came from a 6.0. At the same time my 2015 F550 is a honest WORK HORSE! 2015 and newer are amazing!

2 years ago I was looking for a 15-16 F350, 8'bed, Lariat, Super Cab with every option. I found one in Tampa FL and I live in Tacoma WA. It had every option, PERFECT condition, black with gray trim and had 17,000 miles on it for $46,000. I flew down and drove it back in 5 days. I love it! When I drive it at 60 mph I get 26 mph. If you want one there out there. 15-16 are the last of the steel Super Dutys. Best pick-up I've ever had!

I had a 2016 and now a 2019 and hate the 19. Miss the 16 so much. I'm screwed. Can't go back due to $$ it would cost. Don't sell that truck friend.

Seats aren't as comfortable pretty bad,can't see out the rear view window when loading truck camper,way too high now, adaptive steering is aweful hard to steer and makes a long day longer,vents don't turn away as far blowing too much on you to keep cab at set temp,no storage behind rear seat really. Pretty bad compared to the 16. I owned a 2001,2002,2008,2011 as well. This redesign sucks. My son has a 2006 dually and is so low and can see out the rear view window into the bed and is so comfortable as well. I'm screwed. Every time I see a 15 or 16 I weep. The 16 was awesome. Ran perfect until 160k of hard use when I traded.

How does the 6.7 compare to how ur 6.0 towed with all the upgrades? Currently have a 6.0 and debating on upgrading fuel system (already have a stage 2 turbo) or selling and getting a 6.7. I know u can make the same power as a 6.7 tuned and deleted but towing u turn it down so curious how they compare then

I tow my 15k excavator regularly or another 11k tool trailer at least 5 days per week and at 17k miles can say I am quite pleased with the 2020 setup. Fuel economy is a big upgrade.

What is your fuel economy

@@six0bros towing all week in city 14.8 mpg. Not towing on hwy at 68 mph it is 21.6 mpg. I don't tow my equipment down the highway much so I don't have any good data for that but the city stuff should be sticking the most fuel anyway. It is huge. My tuned 2016 couldn't match the towing mpg.

These trucks have gone up a lot in the past year, but I do think around 44-50 is probably the going rate right now

So question guys what is the best 6.7 and I was wondering in your opinion if I'm buying a used 100,000 mile 2015 or 2018 f250 super duty which one is more reliable and the best option?

I am sorry I am years late to this. what did you end up going with? honestly between those 2 years truthfully they have very comparable reliability. the 2018 would make a little more power from factory but they are both very good trucks.

I’ve watched both your 6.7 videos and read all the comments in an attempt to decide what truck to buy. I’m starting a business in January and have to buy something, currently driving a 14 6.2 that has served me well(company truck). I have a $500 deposit on a brand new 350 DRW for 70k. Getting second thoughts on buying a brand new one. I am partial to the steel body trucks. Do you think scaling down to a low mileage 2015/16 would be a smarter decision? I would also like to delete and that isn’t going to happen on a new truck. Thanks for your time.

According to the best year of 6.7 Powerstroke is 2015-current. It's a very reliable and dependable engine to buy.

Yes that's correct. The gen 2 engines (2015-2019) are well proven as reliable, but from everything I have seen the gen 3 is also incredibly reliable as well

best 6.7 is Gen 3! (17-19) I was lucky for a 2019 to land in my hands while waiting for my custom 2022. Not being able to delete the 2022 as easy, plus a 6 speed transmission being more reliable and durable than the 10 speed, couple weeks ago decided to keep it! Not to mention the issues stated here.

@@six0bros right.. but 2019 is the "newest" truck worth buying.. only bad part is that they are selling as if not even more than the current year. Crazy but true. i paid 60k out the door couple months ago. Basic XLT package.

Love my '14 but with it holding its value so well I am thinking about selling and moving up to a '17 or '18. I have heard that the '17s have some small issues, you know anything about that? Haven't been keeping up with the videos lately (life 😒) but I love the intro and the new shirts man. Keep it up!!

I have heard 17s and spinning bearings but I don't know if its really a problem or not just a few claims

Yeah I picked mine up fall of 19 for 39k with 69k miles. It's at 125k miles now but still worth almost what I paid for it. Probably should let it go and start looking at a '18 If you do start looking, look in Arkansas. Trucks are cheap there and no rust.

Yeah my 6.0 is getting worked on ...still. Ended up leaving it in Virginia after moving back to the North West. Shop keep finding issues in the oil system. All sorts of plugged and gunked up. And the brand new sinister ficm was a bust as well.

I loved my 17 but when the tab to repair some turbo and fuel system was bad. 12k I just traded it in and got the 22 so far I really love the 22 more but not the price lol

That's a tough one. I love them both but for different reasons. The 6.0 is so much more entertaining to drive, but the comfort of the 6.7 is way up. I would probably keep the 6.0 and just update the interior to make it as comfortable as the 6.7

The truth is the are both great trucks man. I would look for the best deal as they are so expensive but both trucks will serve you well. I'm obviously a big Ford fan so thats what I would buy but both will do great

I love ford man because I have one the 6.4 it got 230xxx miles still doing good only problem I got oil leak and now I have the fuel gauge not working lol

230 isnsome good miles man. I did want to add that a duramax is also an excellent truck. The big 3 are pretty good. My preference is Ford, but next I would go duramax, but all 3 are good.
