I'm kind of in your position and I would say yes! Synchro and xyz summoning is not hard to learn, and all you really need to start off is a decent structure deck. Once you practice and play a few rounds, I'm sure you'll get adjusted to the game and be able to see what's effective strategy wise. Just play lots of friendlies to start off, and don't worry much about losing, since you're just getting back into the game. If you try playing again I hope you have fun!

i guess the newer packs suck if one compares them to the older ones, the holos etc. are most times monster cards.... it felt so great by pulling out mirrorforce and stuff......... cant feel the same for all that monsters :/
