Honestly sometimes it's not even about being able to afford it or not, I look at it like spending $300 plus dollars on a bottle of cologne when I can find a reputable clone that smells and performs almost exactly the same and sometimes better is just being smart with your money! I'd rather have 5-6 bottles of different clones than 1 bottle of a Designer/Niche. Don't get me wrong though, I myself do have some designers but I just can't justify any fragrance costing $300 plus no matter how much money you have! Edit: Not only all this, but most people unless they are some snob fragrance connoisseur aren't even going to be able to know the difference because all fragrances smell a little different on everyone once applied!

I’ve tried the clones and they just are not for me. Idk if it’s a good fragrance and last long I Jan justify spending 2-300 on it. I still buy cheapies

I took delivery of Maison Alhambra Woody Oud, Afnan Rare Carbon & Lattafa Asad today! Spot on. To my nose, the Lattafa Asad is 99% DS Elixir while the Afnan Rare Carbon is 90% TF Ombre Leather, same as Maison Alhambra Woody Oud to TF Oud Wood! Best value buys. Some perfumes are opposite, for example Rochas man ( 1999) can't be the clone of coffe break (2019) or Michael Jordan legend (1997) of bond new Harlem (2003) Same story with one man show ruby and red tobacco or Versace eau fresh with Chanel allure edition Blanche (which both by the way they are not close to each other) Most of the brands are Arabic ones who imitate very mass appealing perfumes. I would recommend to avoid both of them, there are so many other perfumes to choose niche or designer
