He's a dumbass but she really shouldve shut his comments down about her personal life. She should care less what he has to say about any relationships she may have going forward. It's called 'divorce', he doesn't get a say. She should've told him to mind his own business. And re Jasmine, shed not have been so resistant if her father had ever really took an interest in her and building their relationship without trying to force his new GF and son on her. Also, if he and his stupid mother would stop talking badly of her mom, most of the angst for Jasmine coukdve been avoided.

I agreed with you. The problem was he wasn't very smart or shall we say not smart at all ... he's just plain stupid, immature and mummy's boy. So all along there wouldn't be any problem at all after the divorce. But he created the problem himself. Mo Li would have accepted him as her father if he paid more attention to her instead of trying to please his new girlfriend and her son. To a little eight years old girl, you had to be true to what you said and don't change it along the way and get caught. That's called lying to a little girl. In fact that's a lie.

@@jennylaw6820 he was a HORRIBLE father. He clearly wanted a boy as evidenced by the amount of time he spent with the GFs son. When you've never been to a parent-teacher meeting and the school believes another man was his daughter's father pretty much says it all. And so true, he was a big, old mummy's boy.

@@deirdremyers2648 he's just an idiot and so influenced by his mother that he became confused himself. The mother and son were both ignorant and living in the past. When one married into the family, they think that they owned you ... the one who'd the rights to live her own life should be Tianlan and Mo Li and not to be hassled day and night by this awful mother and son pair. But then tianlan was only doing her duty to bond Mo Li with her father and grandma. Yet these two idiots couldn't see it. They continued to hassle, bully and humiliate Tianlan and Mo Li. Like the way Mo Li even at only eight years old stood up to them in her own little girl way. Tianlan didn't want Mo Li to feel bitterness towards her biological father and grandmother later on when she's grown up. Yet these two idiots didn't appreciate it.
