The one thing I keep noticing is the shoes and the baggy trousers, @5:45 you can see a reflection of metal, might be for stability in the shoes, also a lot of jumpstylers use baggy trousers to help make it look like they're gliding and shuffling with minimal effort across the floor. I'm not say this guys not good, he's awesome but just an observation

Hitmaster Fish and ten said that, kite stayed at ten's house and ten would teach kite.

Wow and kite enhance his style and made it even more popular... I watched Atomic Hitterz videos after seeing this and they are super funky, i love it.
@GrowingDownUnder8 жыл бұрын
Yeah just kite says he only learned crazy legs from popin pete & footwork from yuki. Kite doesn't give credit to ten and ten couldn't find work in asia or get workshops
@Kidkromechan8 жыл бұрын
GrowingDownUnder I see o.O Maybe Yuki had more influence on his leg work than Ten o.O I would still give credits to all my teachers though if i was kite well its a dream to be popular popper but if i was then i would o.O

@invertedexistence absolutely this was just popping and walking for the most part.. this ain't actually what dancing is all about. As a dancer when you dance you're supposed to complement the song with your movements also complementing and rhythmically transitioning between moves, which I wasn't seeing much rhythm here just movement and spaming dance moves.

Ok Kite is great with the legs combos buuuttt if you turn down music and watch him dance he is just average. I have watched thousands of poppers, bboys and the like....Kite is ok. But a least he is up there doing his thing....
@EssentiallyFunky9 жыл бұрын
You cant just turn off music and then say a dancer is average its like saying every cereal without milk tastes the same
@paksau19 жыл бұрын
+EssentiallyFunky Just an opinion bro Kite is ok in my eyes but I just Favor guys like whzgud2 and poppin john...I have danced and judged dancers for over 40 years and don't claim to be better than anyone. But I don't want to sound like a hater of Kite or his fans.
@brunosebastianhinojosareli53249 жыл бұрын
+paksau1 I'ts ok to have your own opinion, but I have to know... Why would you like Nonstop (Whzgud2) or popping John more than Kite? I mean, I used to be a huge fan of Nonstop, but it's been around a year since he got stuck and hasn't improven a bit. Besides, Kite's technique is more fluid (not so variable as, let's say, Poppin J, but still has a flow like him). Of course, Nonstop and Poppin John styles are completely different from Kite. Kite uses more boogalo stuff, while Nonstop and John are focused only in animation. I don't want to compare Popping John and Kite because of that, but I really need to know your opinion about why Nonstop is over Kite on technique
@paksau19 жыл бұрын
+Bruno Sebastian Hinojosa Relion I guess, my friend it is what is pleasing to the eye. Yes, I might be a little bias because I don't care too much for that west coast style of dance. I watched some more of Kite,s dance on YT but still feel the same. I guess I like a harder style of dance where moves are exact, flows without the dancer losing the move (a lot of stretched out moves). What I see when I see Kite is a very good dancer but all the arms and legs seems to have a mind of their own. Guess I'm comparing kung fu to karate here huh? I appreciate Kite's fluidity, creativity and energy but when I see Nonstop or Poppin John the moves almost look magical. so I guess that's what l like to see.
@brunosebastianhinojosareli53249 жыл бұрын
Ok, so basically you prefer animation over boogaloo just because of the looks. I understand it can be more interesting to the eye (actually I agree with you on that), but... I then just wonder how objective your judging is if you ignore the technique. Because you are not being quite objective here. Judging is not about the "I liked this more because it looked awesome". You must also take into account the musicality, the movement flow according to the style, the dancing branch itself and the concept of the choreograpgy. I don´t want to start a fight (If you want to debate with arguments, then that´s ok), but seriosly, don´t go bragging you´ve judgedd for more than 40 years if you are not having an objective argument to your judgement. I apologyze in advanced if I sounded agresive. I mean, I know you said it was just an opinion and I respect that, but please don't mix "judging" with "having an oppinion".
