The only change I recommend for us lemon addicts 😋 is this: before you slice the lemons to juice them, remove the zest to add in during the step where you combine the lemon curd with the whipped cream. DON'T cook the zest! It will be delicious piquant with zest in.

For a change instead of using lemon juice use the same amount of freshly squeezed orange juice. Mum would do this as a change from lemons, great if you serve in a slightly larger serving dish with meringue piped over the top and either browned under a grill or with one of those torch thingys chefs use. Thank you, I haven't seen this made since I was a kid some 50+ years ago now.

I’m more concerned with the time to bring the concoction to thicken on the stove. It equates to watching water boil. You could have used the zest. Put it in the sugar and rub it with your fingers or back of a spoon. Or put the zest in the juice and muddled it. Or if you like the zest just grate it. It will take your lemon flavor to the next level.

Ребята, я сделала этот десерт, как по мне, то всего 100 гр сахара - это очень мало, несмотря на то, что в сливки я добавила пудру тоже, всё равно он меня мега кислый получился. В сок я натерла цедру 1 лимона, немного позже процедила и начала процесс. В целом свежий, легкий вкус, только сахар регулируйте на свой вкус❤ спасибо автору за идею!❤❤❤
