This again depends on where in the country you happen to be. Food trucks , depending on what they are serving will cost more or less. In the Southwest, it might be cheaper at the mexican food trucks. Watched Mark Wiens in Tuscon, and he had this huge burrito wrapped in bacon.The place he went to had these big Sonoran tortillas which they filled with meat, cheese tomatoes and fresh avocados with a drizzel of mayo.Wrap it up ,then wrap it with bacon and cook on the grill.That was $12.00 but worth it. He mentions beigents. Mexicans have sopapillos(maybe misspelled.) It means little pillows. These are square pieces of dough that are fried,. They are light and airy, not dense, and we like breaking them open and drizzeling them with honey.Some people put butter on them.

@Goldenkitten13 жыл бұрын
It's true that they tend to be more expensive but there is a positive side to it. Namely that most people that own food trucks are in it for the joy of cooking and not just dollars because unless you get super lucky and branch out you're never going to be rolling in cash operating a food truck so its a labor of love and thus much more likely to actually taste good. And another reason it tastes good is that many food trucks locally source instead of relying on frozen foods, this is also why the price is usually a little hard to swallow.

Yes but Vietnamese money value is way lower then the US dollar thus a lot of tourists might seem like it’s cheap. As someone who is from the south, that is not shrimp and grits 🤣🤣 Real southern shrimp and grits has a gravy, or stew to go on top of the shrimp. The shrimp are also grilled or sautéed. Very rarely they are fried. Great video though!!

Shredding cheese requires a lot of work and is a lot harder to work with than pre-shredded cheese. If the end result basically tastes the same, what's the point of shredding your own cheese when it requires much more work? Restaurants need to be efficient with their time if they want to make a profit, so it makes perfect sense why they would opt for pre-shredded
