Some of us in Vietnam would really appreciate Vietnamese subtitles for this series. Not all of us can understand English, or at least not capable enough for the video. Even as a Vietnamese I am mindblown by the diversities of our culture, specifically when it comes to local cuisines. I'm commenting this, knowing this is a 3 year old video and my comment will probably be buried in the hundreds or thousands more to come. Keep at it, you're really helping spread our unique culture!

I like how you are so polite when eating a lot of that “ interesting food” and express your feelings about the taste of the food in a way as to not offend the people who cooked it for you. You and Andrew keep it classy and never make derogatory statements about the food, the people, the cultures, the food and it’s preparation and the environment. I am sure there are times you have probably wanted to throw up but you and Andrew solider on and down the food with as little bit of drama as possible.

Recently discovered this channel and I'm so glad I did. This is genuinely one of the best food shows I have ever come across, certainly the best on KZbin (that I have seen) and by some margin. The production, the presentation, the locales, the research and prior knowledge.. all finished off with Sonny's (and in this case, Andrew's) very human, informal, playful delivery. It's also very important in asian cultures to preserve traditions, foods, languages, identity, family legacies, & cultures & to honor your parents legacies.
