Smoked turkey legs definitely are more ham tasting. In the south you can use them in a pot of beans or collard greens as a ham substitute and it tastes just as good. The MN State Fair is definitely on my bucket list.

@@jdamommio they make all the bacon in advance and clean the flat top before cooking the sandwiches. Also they have a couple of grills so they can keep one clean for the thousands of Muslims, Jews, vegetarians, and others who choose not to eat pork 😉 But it’s a good question. If you eat in most American restaurants, you’re probably eating pork because everything’s cooked and prepared together. That’s one of the main benefits of living in Abu Dhabi … Halal food all day, every day 🥰

I’ve watched all your minnesota food fair viedos and I’ve only got two things on my list, martha’s cookies and the cheese curds. They both look legit and not at all overdone, hope they thrive in business until I can come and taste them myself!

I went to an air show in Midland, TX in 1999 (I think that was the year). I got some grilled corn & a turkey leg for the first time & last. Grilled corn and fresh, uncooked white corn is my fav! I frequently buy white corn, peel the husks, wash then eat. My favorite fair foods is 100% vinegar fries, grilled corn & turkey legs. Or if they have a good vendor making bbq chicken thighs. I will be going to the fair this year for the first time since I was maybe 16/17/18. I got too fat and got embarrassed when I was told my seat belt thing wouldn’t latch and gave me a ticket to play free games.. I lost 140 pounds this year and down to a size that I’m pretty sure I could ride them again. 🤞🏻

I'm so jealous of this fair! I wish we had something like it over here in the UK - it looks absolutely amazing. However, when all the travel restrictions are taken off, whenever that might be, you need to come over to England with Calvin and have some proper chip shop chips and a fish cake, preferably a Sheffield fish cake though because that's a slab of fish between two big potato scallops that are battered and deep-fried. They're amazing!

"Do you eat it like this?" "Yeah, you eat it like that." I'm cracking up. But on a serious note, if the corn is fresh enough you can bite off the end and it still taste good, so you could totally eat it like that. Not sure I would want to eat it any way if it wasn't fresh enough for the cob to taste good.

When things were at their very worst: 2 Suns, Cross in the sky, 2 comets will collide = don`t be afraid - repent, accept Lord`s Hand of Mercy. Scientists will say it was a global illusion. Beware - Jesus will never walk in flesh again. After WW3 - rise of the “ man of peace“ from the East = Antichrist - the most powerful, popular, charismatic and influential leader of all time. Many miracles will be attributed to him. He will imitate Jesus in every conceivable way. Don`t trust „pope“ Francis = the False Prophet - will seem to rise from the dead - will unite all Christian Churches and all Religions as one. One World Religion = the seat of the Antichrist. Benedict XVI is the last true pope - will be accused of a crime of which he is totally innocent. "Arab uprising will spark global unrest - Italy will trigger fall out" "The time for the schism in the Church is almost here and you must get prepared now" The Book of Truth
