@@bestfc100 Just Googled. They are 34 now. Raffael announced in April this year that he would retire by the end of the year due to injury. His brother, Fabio, is still playing in Gremio in Brazil. Sadly, their footballing career after Man United was not as good as they would hope for.

Defensive players yes, but they have fundamentals. That team was average on paper, but jiggle them about and they remain average. Jiggle around most teams is the PL today and they aren't average they are a nightmare. This utd team were robust, with a couple of excellent attacking players. Fergie had tactical awareness, he just didn't brag about it.

I think most coaches would have been able to, as long as the poor bastards could stay injury-free. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, especially for Fabio, but there's no denying the talent the twins had. Getting rid of them was a stupid decision, and their replacements have been largely underwhelming or as injury-prone as they were.

Jamie Vardy jumped into Rafael and somehow conned the ref into giving a penalty, and LVG decided to get rid of him. Nani got played up front in a pre-season game and didn't do as well as Robben, so get rid of him too. One of the youth strikers(Keane or Wilson) had a decent pre-season, so LVG told Welbeck he was behind that kid in the pecking order and free to leave the club. Absolute maniac!
