I've listened to so many artists of 60's to present and past found Mori to have the most technical skills. She can also sing and perform in all genres and in several languages. She can also play the piano and acoustic guitar. She can sing and dance in a concert by herself without the help of back ups. she always sings live. No auto tune and no lip-synch. Her whistles are unpredictable unlike others who needed full stop then whistle while others are simply inserting a pre-recorded whistle during a "live" performance.

You feel proud of her because she pulls you in with her voice and the way she makes you feel emotion with her delivery. She does that on almost every song she sings, I am a 67 yr old American and i am a Mori addict. In my 50 years of listening to music no one has come close to moving my soul like Mori does, She is Very Special as a Human and a Performer.

I like that you said you feel proud of her. We all are! It's like in this song, she loves someone but that someone doesn't love her back, and we feel we are rooting for her. There is such beauty in her voice, even her squeaks (what you call "squeal") and growls add to the emotions. Her belts are gorgeous, not hurting to the ears, her whistles are incredible, we were all taken by surprise, perfectly executed with riffs and runs in them, not just a straight tone whistle. Akin Ka Na Lang Is Francisco "Kiko" Salazar's song, it was an entry to PhilPop Himig Handog 2014 song writing competition, Morisette is Kiko's vocal "muse"/ interpreter. I for one am from the USA and I prefer listening to Filipino Artists over western artists. Morissette, Darren, Katrina, Ragena and even PPop group SB19 are all exceptional!
