It’s so nice that Zoe made time for Mark; just the two of them like old times, laughing together at daft things. Zoe just being Zoe, not Mummy Zoe. Mark n’ Zoe just two pals out for the afternoon. 😀

I’m a flight attendant and the one thing I always suggest with flying with toddlers and babies is to make sure they have something to chew on whether it be snacks or a toy once the plane begins to descend! Those ears get congested and that makes them cry the most. Also you’ll be amazed how much a simple cup of ice blows their mind when they’re restless!
@kristencook94032 жыл бұрын
From my experience with a baby/toddler age it was much easier for us to book somewhere that we could space out & basically “live” from that place. We stayed in a hotel when Brydger (my baby) was 6 months & it was miserable because we didn’t have the adequate room that he was used to. He’s currently 13 months and 100% recommend a cozy cottage/house.

Thank you for uploading this Zoe, so wonderful! I don't have children but I remember when I was younger we went on a few holidays staying in a villa in the south of France, Florida and Jersey. They were amazing holiday's as you were able to explore the villages, see the local attractions, we got some with pools which me and my sisters spent all day in! They're great holiday's that you're able to do on your own terms and I have such fond memories of those holiday's. I hope this helps and thank you again for this vlog! All my love, Ellen xxx

was so hoping you'd vlog this!! i'd suggest self catered whilst she's still young and crawling- means you have the comfort of having everything around you and it's easier to find foods she will eat instead of relying on the hotel catering. resort holidays are better when she can enjoy swimming pools and slides. regarding passports you can still get them back within 3/4 weeks so still okay for summer if you get it done quickly!

My parents used to take me to the other side of the country as a baby (first trip I was about 5 months old), and we would stay in my grandparents house. Id personally recommend booking something a little more private (house/cottage/villa). Aside from the fact that you get to spread out more, you get assurance that if she is fussy during the night/you have a hard time getting her to sleep (perhaps because of the time difference) it wont disturb any potential room neighbors. Also 2 of my biggest travel recommendations when traveling with a little one is to bring portable blackout shades (I've seen some that have suction cups to the window) so baby can sleep, and a play yard that serves as a pop up crib, potential changing table, and smaller zone for her to play when you are maybe answering some emails nearby (depends on what type of play yard/ pack n play you get, some even have music or mobiles).

We just came back from a holiday to Portugal with our 6 month old and our 2 year old. We had an apartment and did self catered, ollie hadn't quite started weaning yet so we just made sure if we went out for food it wouldn't interfere with his bottle/bedtime. Then if we just wanted to cook in the apartment we had that option as well xx

We just traveled to Italy with our 9 month old and stayed in a villa. We loved it. It was amazing to have more room than just a hotel room and to be able to go outside without needing to pack lots of stuff for the baby since you could just pop in if you needed anything. Also made it easier to have a rented car and explore.
@beedecay27542 жыл бұрын
I travel with my 1 year old for work all the time. Most hotel chains like ramada/hilton etc have their rooms basically baby proof as opposed to like an air bnb. Having a seperate room for baby is essential so you can have a quiet place for naps and you also get time to yourself when they go to bed. Travel high chair is so helpful too when traveling with baby, some hotels have them as well as playpens or cots.

Hi, Zoe! Fellow Mom here! I have done both resort style and self service style with my baby boy. I definitely loved doing resort style when he wasn’t crawling. We first went when he was 6 months and stayed at this incredible resort and it was a blast. He was happy in his stroller and being held and didn’t want to crawl everywhere. However when he was in the crawling stage and first started walking and wanted nothing to do with being carried around being able to spread out in a villa versus a hotel room is a major must. It kind of adds a sense of normalcy for them too when you’re able to recreate their very own space and have areas for them like a play area, etc which can be hard to do in a hotel room! It really just depends on the age but with a 9 month old I would say self service villa wins over resort.

I definitely think getting a villa will be the best idea! I grew up in villas with my younger brother and after having gone to apartment complexes/hotels recently, I definitely think villas would be easier and safer? with a baby! I also recommend Lanzarote as a destination - specifically costa teguise. Lanzarote is such a lovely island with enough different villages/towns that its easy enough to jump in the car and go to any town. Lanzarote is small enough but spread out enough that you can be in one town and still feel like you are somewhere completely different in the town 15 minutes down the road! Hope that helps :)

We loved doing both types of holiday but at that age i think a hotel suit is eaiser and the best of both worlds. Benefits are you don't have to think about food as much as you can order to your suit or eat out, you have everything you need in a smaller space bur doing a suit means more than one room so you and baby have your own space during naps/bed time so she sleeps better and you two get to do TV/board games etc. she also has more than one room to explore and you can lay toys out in one space and the other space cam still feel clear. You can still rent a car and do day trips where you want, when you want.
