Speaking solely of the 2 female leads. Kashibhai in this movie was a strong and honorable character. She always upheld duty and never let feelings get in the way of them, which is admirable. Mastani is such a stark contrast to that, her dialogue is just random poetry and she does not hold herself accountable to the things she has caused because of her "love" for bajirao. (Which i think is just lust. You cannot just do whatever you want and pretend its honorable just because you said it's for love. That's not love that's selfish ) This movie did an amazing job portraying that, and priyanka did an amazing job building kashibhais character. Speaking of bajirao he was an asshole and a child with the way he handled things with kashi.

I would like to think that it is more about, that, in this movie, Mastani saved Bajirao's life and he did trust her so absolutely not, that he tried to kill her. Not even an apology for this. Maybe she just was too much of a royal to say "You owe me an apology, you stupid a.......e". Maybe, according to this movie, she should have said to herself: get over this Mastani, he's not worth it. Just my inner thoughts on this one. If you quote Love: Love has many faces; and, Love makes blind. So yes, if it is for Love, as described in this movie, absolutely fine with me. Bajirao accepted even though I think his family dint have multiple marraiges tradition. Mastani was never accepted by her in-laws and rest of the movie is technically true. And it is recorded that Bajirao loved his second wife more than the first one. You really feel bad for the first one in the film and even in real.

I love all three of them ❤❤ But it was unfair for Kashi. 😢😢😢 I don’t know about Bajirao, but Kashi and Mastani’s love for Baji felt true and pure. And the way they respected each other just told how strong both of them were, especially Kashi. When she had no need to respect her husband and the another woman, she still did.

So left to fight my own battle. My parents r supportive bt their interference would make things worse. Be it arranged(mine so) or love marriage , i hv seen n heard infidelity cases vn i ws working in a MNC. However in my case although i m self sufficient financially my children's upbringing shld not b hampered so i kept d marriage intact. Some stern actions, little patience n wise decions are taken n done. So smooth going. Thanks once again frnd. 😊 My emotions rose in "pride dialogue" so wrote my story.
