This is something I never understood was never in the original game, but I guess our old friend brachiosaurus might have an issue with that. It probably isn’t worth it, but you could go pack to your 1993 JP park and make the Rex enclosure properly.

Yeah unfortunately none of the dinosaurs have swimming locomotion, so they'd just walk underwater lol

question:can the creatures scale these cliffs?i mean if they are natural barriers or if the dinosaurs cling to the Mountains like little spider-men? great video keep up the good work!

From what I've seen they can walk up the cliffs but the walking cycle looks very broken so it's kind of up to you to avoid making it look unnatural. One thing you could try is using the invisible fence mod that BIS showcased a while back to fence off really steep areas so you don't get dinosaurs awkwardly crawling up cliffs.

Just a heads up- I tried putting the monorail in the ocean and it stays fixed to a certain height above the LAND underneath. If you want the monorail to really look like it’s going over the ocean you should raise the terrain underneath the areas where you want the monorail to go 🙂

I built a "crater" park with the buildings all around the top and dinos down in the crater not long after the game was released. It wasn't easy in the least given the terrain tools at the time. This was LONG overdue.

I was wondering when you were going to spotlight this. Quicker than I expected! You should do a canyon map of some kind, or a canyon exhibit now that it's possible! Now I can finally do some of the park designs I've been wanting to do since he game came out! Now all that's left on my mod wishlist (which I once considered unrealistic, now seems actually possible) are DNA presets and dinosaur breeding.

Dude you have no idea how much this makes me happy, the expanded mod we really needed. I have no idea why the devs did not do this and allow us to truly make our park-like the first one... it feels so limited and I feel like they were lazy on most things. :c I am highly disappointed in the devs for being limited, this game is amazing and has potential, but I don't think it would ever replace the original, Jurassic Park Operation Genesis. Still, this mod with the updated tools and expanded tools feels much more freedom, so big Thank you to the modders for doing this. You truly my hero for this. ♥ Also Thank you Bests for showing us these mods, I had no idea they existed! ;3;

Again I did a crater park. You have a monorail tour go through the park with exhibits in Craters that are a savanna well the rest is a desert. This along with invisible fences and expanded map would have been nice

Go full nerd mode and do a LOTR themed park: Shire, Mount Doom, Isengard, Mordor (two towers!), Dead Marshes, Rivendell, Anduin river with canyon (and statues?)...so many possibilities with various terrain elevations.
