The storms in this game mode have crippled me twice now. My main advice is to try to have a bit of extra cash on hand for when they hit. I was in such a rush to get the expensive stuff like the mosasaurus that I didn't pace myself and the storm just decimates you if you do that. Especially the tornadoes...good god the tornadoes...

I told myself after my left incident that I need to take my time, same for everyone, build up, the dinos aren't going nowhere, progress your dinos as you go, struthi, edmonta, and cerata/ carno and majunga are great starters, and ofc carno and mujunga can co-exist, tho they will fight so that can be a problem, but still, take your time slowly, and when you can, get the trex genome, best way is..infact.. let a nasutoceratops fight one another, you need a animal to win 3 fights, nasuto (or trikes but tbh is rather go for nasuto) can be a tad aggressive and fight for dominance, and her the aviary around the time you need mosasaurus, trust me, you'll have good income to have a few pterosaurs in the aviary, dimorphodon and pterodon are best choices at the get go, and the time stop is crucial in this mode, stopping at the best time (to hear missions at the beginning to keep your high money), and most importantly.. Storms, use the time stop right when you get the notification, open the shelters and tranq rexy.. trust me.. first time she broke out and I was ruined XP, and stay as a ranger in every storm, send one out remotely and control the other just in case if the monorail gets destroyed XD. A tip for seeing the needs of dinosaurs (and planing ahead) via the hatchery even if you don't have the dinosaurs unlocked

You can't see Dino needs unless you've already released them

@@communistpooch9430 You can see the general categories, like Forest, Sand, Rock, etc. I've used that plenty in my current Jurassic Park game to tweak exhibits before airlifting my dinos over to them. I don't believe you can see their percentages (not able to check atm), but you can at least gather that "oh, this dino needs some sand and forest seems to be a higher requirement" and kind of work from there.

Some lagoon dimensions I experimented with to find out the minimum size/number of segments each species needs for 100% area and space. This is for just one animal from each, if you want more than up to max clutch size then add 1-3 more segments (excluding Ichthyosaurus, which surprisingly doesn't need extra room with a max clutch size): Attenborosaurus: 4 sections Elasmosaurus: 4 sections Ichthyosaurus: 3 sections Liopleurodon: 3 sections Mosasaurus: 5 sections Plesiosaurus: 4 sections Tylosaurus: 5 sections

I’ve smashed this level so far…until the mission objectives after releasing the Indominus and I’ve been absolutely ravaged by storms which left me with zero cash…built some cash back up by taking photos of dinosaurs and had enough to repair my monorail…then cash started flowing in again and just as I’m building up some cash nice and steady…ANOTHER STORM…fuck storms honestly, can’t wait to turn them off in sandbox and never have to deal with them ever again

I just love the fact that they use the same helicopter for the sauropods of 100+ metric tons and the 2 kilograms compys. 1 helicopter for each specimen even if is smaller than a chicken.

BIS: "I wish i could release dinosaurs and have them immediately tranquilized" Since helicopters assigned to outpost auto respond to breakouts. Try placing an outpost in front of hatchery without a fence and heli assigned to it. Any released dinosaur "SHOULD" be recognized as a breakout and heli auto tranqs...maybe? Could be a little experiment vid though

That's definitely a shame about the monorail. You look like you're doing alright. The tornado is still the worst..... it took a long while for me to beat that Chaos theory level because I kept getting wrecked.

@@Mjsports3730 the hump I had to get over was at around 2 1/2 stars... around when I was able to get the Mosasaurus. Once I got the Mosa, I was still getting wrecked by the tornado but I was at least making money and recovering quickly from it. After I got the Mosa, I made it to 5 Stars much easier. Anyways, may the Force be with you! You'll get it eventually.

39:21 yeah, we don't call the ones in the sea dinosaurs because they aren't; they're closer related to snakes. And they *did* leave the sea (hence they are tetrapods) but then they came back to it, just like the mammals that evolved into whales did in ages after them.

Mosasaurus and Tylosaurus is closer to snakes and lizards yes but Liopleurodon, Plesiosaurus, Kronosaurus, Attenborosaurus, and Elasmosaurus are closer to turtles. Meanwhile nobody has a clue who Ichthyosaurs are closer to between them.

Why not just tear down the fence between the trikes and the ankys? I know you were worried about them not being compatible in ep1 but the ankys had cerasaurids or whatever it was listed in their "likes", so shouldn't they work together? Get all of them some extra room!

Remember when the Indominus Rex broke out and smashed into it and let out all of the Pterosaurs out and killed Simon Masrani in his helicopter and they were flying around and eating loads of the guests on main street including the baby sitter lady before geting eaten by the Mosasaurus, you know the whole incident that was so bad that it was basically one of the main reasons why Jurrasic World had to close...

There wasn't an aviary in the main park tho... It was in the woods that's how the indom crashed through it without it being close to the guests. They flew into the main park but the aviary itself was not. That's all bis said. Because the game comes with main Street and the lagoon area you don't have a specific place for the aviary in relation to the movie so you can put it anywhere.. He didn't say there wasn't an aviary in the movie he acknowledged that there was.
