For sure i couldn't expect Yulia to behave like this when playing Elena, i thought she will be calm because Elena is her fellow countrymate. But she behaved badly to her. Thanks Rybakina for being always calm and down although she finds tough challenges in her matches she handles her self gently.

I was there, and honestly did not think Elena was gonna win. First it seemed like she would lose the second set (bc, correct me if I’m wrong) she was broken. Then, the third set you summed up pretty well with her saving a match point at 5-3 by the skin of her teeth. I’m so glad she won though, she was really struggling to find her game. I only really noticed Putintseva’s antics occasionally, as I was so focused on Rybakina and Stefano Zukov 😍 I just love their dynamic. Another great video, Chris! She’s playing Sabalenka. Iga’s playing Keys. I’ll be at both 🤗

Hello🙋🏻♂️, thanks for your video and comments. I heard sometimes not-tennis-players-people saying that tennis players are a little out of mind balance. Tennis just makes visible a part of us humans that otherwise we could not see. Those who are out of tennis would behave tha same way if they were in, maybe not with the same style every of them, but we would be able to see this Yulia behaviour in a lot of cases. In a life compiting in tennis, I never smashed a raquet, but I do not say „I will never do it“ the situation could come. Yulia lost the match when she had a few mach ball. Let‘s forgive this kind of things, it could be us.

She had a 5-2 lead and talked herself right out of a win. Sure, Rybakina started playing really well but that's what champions do, it was up to Putintseva to stay with her and fight it out. It's the main reason she hasn't been rated higher than 27.
