So to my understanding correct me if I’m wrong. The first name is the top while the second name is the bottom?

Just fyi, if you're new to BL, categorising pairings into top-bottom is common practice in the industry, but most actual queer fans very much dislike the focus that is put on it, bc it perpetuates untrue stereotypes (equating your preferences in bed with your personality, which have nothing to do with each other and it's also rooted in heteronormativity since having a more "dominant" partner and a more "submissive/soft" partner is supposed to mirror hetero relationships, which is not okay and not how queer relationships work) and bc it's normalising a conversation that is supposed to stay private (too many BL fans feel way too comfortable talking about who is top or bottom, not just about fictional characters - which is already bad enough - but also about actors or real life couples, when it's a highly inappropriate thing to speculate or ask smn about! But due to the weird fixation the BL industry has with the whole "top-bottom" thing, fans feel justified in asking such questions and talking abt it between each other. That is not okay, sex is something private and should always stay private). It also completely erases the fact that there are people who are vers, but somehow that idea never comes up in shows, which is a further indicator that the categorisation is due to heteronormativity, which should be eradicated in BL since one of its purposes is to help the community. This was just a little something to keep in mind while engaging with the industry or particularly this specific part of the industry

@@paci79 I have noticed that there are a very few newer BL's that had a vers couple and/or a discussion about preferences, so maybe we are finally getting through to the writers and producers about realistic representation?

@@heartsamessgaultier8562 I hope so, it definitely seems to be going in the right direction
