*15 Astonishing facts About Islam That you Really don't know !* *1)* *“Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”* . “Salam” (which means “peace”) is the root word of “Islam”. In a religious context the word “Islam” means “the surrendering of one’s will (without compulsion) to the true will of God in an effort to achieve peace”. *2)* *“Muslim” means “anyone or anything that surrenders itself to the true will of God”.* By this definition, everything in nature (trees, animals, planets, etc.) are “muslims” because they are in a state of surrender to God’s will. In other words, they are fulfilling the purpose for which God created them. *3)* *Islam is not a new religion or cult.* It is a universal way of life and civilization. *Again, Islam is not a new religion,* rather it is the same message preached by all earlier prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). But God’s final message to mankind was revealed to the last prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a revival of lost teachings of previous prophets and as a reconfirmation of the eternal message. Studies show that between 1.5 and 1.8 billion people in the world identify their religion as Islam. Along with Judaism and Christianity it traces its roots through Prophet Abraham and back to the first humans Adam and Eve. *4)* *There are five pillars of practice in Islam.* These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Declaration of faith: A statement proclaiming the belief in One God and that Muhammad is a prophet of God. To become Muslim a person simply recites this statement publicly, and in Arabic. B) Formal prayer five times a day. C) Poor-due tax: 2.5% of one’s excess wealth given to the needy once a year. D) Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. E) Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once, if physically and financially able. *5)* *There are six articles of faith in Islam.* These are the basic beliefs that one must have in order to be considered a true Muslim. They are belief in: A) the One God. B) all of the true prophets of God. C) the original scriptures revealed to Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad. D) the angels. E) the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. F) destiny. *6)* *Muslims believe in the one Creator of the Universe, referring to Him as “Allah”* which is the Arabic word for “God”. Muslims worldwide, even English-speaking Muslims, frequently use the Arabic word “Allah” because Arabic is the language of the Qur’an. But Allah is no different than the God of Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The Creator is the Creator regardless of what people call Him. In the English language He is most commonly referred to as “God”. Yet Jesus spoke a different language, referring to God as “Eloi” in Mark 15:34 of the New Testament. Are “God” and “Eloi” different gods? Many Hispanics call God “Dios” and many French say “Dieu”. It would logically follow then that people who refer to God as “Allah” in the Arabic language are referring to the very same God. In fact, many Arab Jews and Arab Christians call God “Allah”. And the word “Allah” is written in Arabic script on the walls of many Arab churches and on the pages of Arabic Bibles. So while the understanding of God may differ between faith groups, the various names used to describe Him does not change the fact that the one Creator of the Universe is the God of all people. This is *Allah* Almighty, The Creator, the one and only true God. He is my God, our God: *"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."* (Quran 2:255) *{Say, “He is Allah, the One. Allah, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” }* (Quran, 112:1-4) Allah Almighty says in the Quran: *"Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."* [Quran 39:53] *7)* *The Islamic concept of God* is that He is loving, merciful and compassionate. Islam also teaches that He is all-knowing and the perfect judge of affairs, and will punish (or forgive) accordingly. However, Allah once said to Muhammad, “My mercy prevails over my wrath”. So Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair. *8)* *Muslims believe that God has revealed 99 of His names, or attributes, in the Qur’an.* It is through these names that one can come to know the Creator. A few of these names are the All-Merciful, the All-Knower, the Protector, the Provider, the Near, the First, the Last, the Hidden and the Source of All Peace. *9)* *The Christian concept of “vicarious atonement” (the idea that Jesus died for the sins of humanity) is alien to the Islamic concept of personal responsibility.* Islam teaches that on the Day of Judgment every person will be resurrected and will be accountable to God for their every word and deed. Consequently, a practicing Muslim is always striving to be righteous while hoping and praying for God’s acceptance and grace. *10)* *Muslims believe in all of the true prophets* that preceded Muhammad, from Adam to Jesus. Muslims believe they brought the same message of voluntarily surrendering to God’s will (islam, in a generic sense) to different peoples at different times. Muslims also believe they were “muslims” (again, in a generic sense) since they followed God’s true guidance and surrendered their will to Him. *11)* *Muslims neither worship Muhammad nor pray through him.* Muslims worship the Unseen, Omniscient Creator, Allah. *12)* *Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (as revealed to Moses) and the original unaltered Bible (as revealed to Jesus)* since they were revealed by God. But none of these scriptures exist today in their original form or in their entirety. Therefore, Muslims follow the subsequent, final and preserved revelation of God, the Qur’an. *13)* *The Qur’an was not authored by Muhammad.* It was authored by God, revealed to Muhammad (through angel Gabriel) and written into physical form by his companions. *14)* *The original Arabic text of the Qur’an contains no flaws or contradictions* and has not been altered since its revelation. *15)* *Actual 7th century Qur’ans, complete and intact,* are on display in museums in Turkey and other places around the world. 🔹️ *EVIDENCE ISLAM IS TRUTH* The following are Scientific, logical, and historical proofs that Islam is the Truth: www.islamreligion.com/category/33/evidence-islam-is-truth/ 🔸️ *For more information about Islam:* www.islam-guide.com 🔹️ *Everything to know about the Prophet of Islam* rasoulallah.net/en/articles/article/6818/ 🔹️ *"Myths about The Prophet of Islam"* www.muhammadfactcheck.org 🔹️ *Islam and Racism* Islam with its universal concept of brotherhood rejects all artificial and man-made marks of distinction. Allah Almighty says in the noble Quran: "O mankind, indeed We (Allah) have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." *(Quran 49:13)* No one can claim any superiority over the other based on race, color, language or wealth and this is emphasized in the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) showing high regard of humanity irrespective of color or race: "“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor does a black have any superiority over a white except by piety and good action.” 🔹️ *How to convert (revert) to Islam* Basically to become a Muslim is very simple.. you need to say the decleration of faith oraly while you believe in it by heart with a firm conviction and unshakeable faith. *The decleration of Faith in Islam (The Shahada)* The Shahada (in Arabic) can be declared as follows : *“ASH-HADU ANLA ELAHA ILLA-ALLAH WA ASH-HADU ANNA MOHAMMADAN RASUL-ALLAH”* The English translation is : *“I bear witness that there is no deity (none truly to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah.”* However, it would not be sufficient for anyone to only utter this testimony oraly either in private or in public; but rather, he should believe in it by heart with a firm conviction and unshakeable faith. If one is truly sincere and complies with the teachings of Islam in all his life, he will find himself a new born person. 🔹️ *New Muslim Guide (in several languages)* newmuslimguide.com/ar/languages 🔹️ *New Muslims eLearning site* (It is for new Muslim converts who would like to learn their new religion in an easy and systematic way. Before my reverting to islam I was a music addict. Then, I reverted and I was told music is haram but at first as a revert I was learning the basics.. and in only one month I was giving up bad things, music as well. At first I switched to nasheds and quran but then in smth like 3 months i quited nasheds as well and now I do listen only to quran even though sometimes Sheytan comes to tell me to play a song..not a big deal but I fight with that. IS NOT THAT HARD IF YOU REALLY FIGHT WITH SHEYTAN FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH! now im a revert for 4 months, Alhamdullilah! may Allah bless you all!

If you believe that the Bible is the word of God then 👇 *The Biblical prophecies* on the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are evidence of the truth of Islam for people who believe in the Bible. In *Deuteronomy 18,* Moses stated that God told him: *“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.”* (Deuteronomy 18:18-19). From these verses we conclude that the prophet in this prophecy must have the following three characteristics: 1) That he will be like Moses. 2) That he will come from the brothers of the Israelites, i.e. the Ishmaelites. 3) That God will put His words in to the mouth of this prophet and that he will declare what God commands him. Let us examine these three characteristics in more depth: *1) A prophet like Moses:* There were hardly any two prophets who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad (peace be upon him). Both were given a comprehensive law and code of life. Both encountered their enemies and were victorious in miraculous ways. Both were accepted as prophets and statesmen. Both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlook not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well. These include the natural birth, the family life, and death of Moses and Muhammad (peace be upon him) but not of Jesus. Moreover Jesus was regarded by his followers as the Son of God and not exclusively as a prophet of God, as Moses and Muhammad (peace be upon him) were and as Muslims Jesus was. So, this prophecy refers to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and not to Jesus, because Muhammad (peace be upon him) is more like Moses than Jesus. Also, one notices from the Gospel of John that the Jews were waiting for the fulfillment of three distinct prophecies. The first was the coming of Christ. The second was the coming of Elijah. The third was the coming of the Prophet. This is obvious from the three questions that were posed to John the Baptist: *“Now this was John’s testimony, when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, “I am not the Christ.” They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.”* (John 1:19-21). If we look in a Bible with cross-references, we will find in the marginal notes where the words *“the Prophet”* occur in *John 1:21* , that these words refer to the prophecy of *Deuteronomy* *18:15* and *18:18**.* We conclude from this that Jesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in *Deuteronomy 18:18.* *2) From the brothers of the Israelites:* Abraham had two sons, Ishmael and Isaac *(Genesis 21).* Ishmael became the grandfather of the Arab nation, and Isaac became the grandfather of the Jewish nation. The prophet spoken of was not to come from among the Jews themselves, but from among their brothers, i.e. the Ishmaelites. Muhammad (peace be upon him) a descendant of Ishmael, is indeed this prophet. Also, *Isaiah 42:1-13* speaks of the servant of God, His “chosen one” and “messenger” who will bring down a law. *“He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope.”* (Isaiah 42:4). Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Kedar. Who is Kedar? According to *Genesis 25:13,* Kedar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). *3) God will put His words in the mouth of this prophet:* The words of God (the Holy Quran) were truly put into Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) mouth. God sent the Angel Gabriel to teach Muhammad (peace be upon him) the exact words of God (the Holy Quran) and asked him to dictate them to the people as he heard them. The words are therefore not his own. They did not come from his own thoughts, but were put into his mouth by the Angel Gabriel. During the life time of Muhammad (peace be upon him) , and under his supervision, these words were then memorized and written by his companions. Also, this prophecy in *Deuteronomy* mentioned that this prophet will speak the words of God in the name of God. If we looked to the Holy Quran, we will find that all its chapters, except Chapter 9, are preceded or begin with the phrase, “In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.” Another indication (other than the prophecy in *Deuteronomy* ) is that *Isaiah* ties the messenger connected with Kedar with a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sung to the Lord *(Isaiah 42:10-11).* This is mentioned more clearly in the prophecy of *Isaiah: “and another tongue, will he speak to this people” (Isaiah 28:11 KJV).* Another related point, is that the Quran was revealed in sections over a span of twenty-three years. It is interesting to compare this with *Isaiah 28* which speaks of the same thing, *“For it is: Do and do, do and do, rule on rule, rule on rule; a little here, a little there.” (Isaiah 28:10).* Note that God has said in the prophecy of *Deuteronomy 18, “If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” (Deuteronomy, **18:19**).* This means that whoever believes in the Bible must believe in what this prophet says, and this prophet is the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). ■ *Jesus* said to the Jews that *the Kingdom of God* (the prophethood , being the chosen people) would be taken from them and be given to another blessed nation: "Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit." (Matthew 21:43) God Almighty removed His Kingdom from them and gave it to other than the "blessed" Arab-Muslims who came from the "blessed" Ishmael. (Genesis 17:20): "And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation." Watch *"What Jesus (pbuh) said about Muhammed (pbuh)? - Khalid Yasin"* on KZbin kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHu0c6Cuqtdlbq8 Watch *"Finding Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the Bible by Dr. Ali Ataie"* on KZbin kzbin.info/www/bejne/npeve6CAiNejprs Watch *"What did Jesus say about Muhammad (peace be upon him)"* kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGOwg6WQech6ZpY Watch *"MUHAMMAD ﷺ AND MADINAH IN THE BIBLE"* on KZbin kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqHRqmdqhJWYe7M *When an Illiterate Man Was Asked to Read* www.islamicity.org/11380/when-an-illiterate-man-was-asked-to-read/ *Comment:* Yes the Bible has been altered by men for the last 2000 years but despite that, some truth still there. For example, you can not find in the Bible one single unequivocal verse said by jesus himself where he claimed to be God or God the Son. On the contrary, Jesus kept saying that he's just a man, a prophet and a servant of God. Likewise, the bible still contains remains of the prophecies on the advent of the awaited (promised) Prophet despite that his name was removed from the Bible but his descriptions remain.

+Khen Gomez _ Peace to you sis.. What you described actually mentioned in AlQur'an. ( 16:98 ) And when you recite the Qur'an, seek refuge with God from satan, the rejected. ( 8:2 ) Verily, the believers are those whose hearts tremble when the name of Allah is mentioned before them and when His Messages are recited to them; it increases them in faith and in their Lord only do they put their trust. There is more like this but you will see it when you read it yourself and ask God to guide and teach you about AlQur'an and life. AlQur'an is Ahsan Al-Hadith which means The Best Hadith (Messages in English). Just want to warn you be careful of lahwal hadith (idle talk/hearsay). InsyAllah (God Willing) all things will make sense to you. Salam sis...

The story of creation starts at 4:20. God tells angles im creating human, they're baffled cuz they know the power of free will we r going to have. Adam cread, satan refused command to bow down to Adam our father (he is jealous of us). Allah cast him away but asked 4 favor to let live until the of judgment and promise he will mislead most of mankind and Allah tells him ok but eternal hell is waiting 4 and anyone that follows you. Just watched Prometheus and its hidden message is satan is good. When u become muslim. No more mystery. U will understand the secret of live and everything will make sense.

I am Christian with great love and respect for our Muslim brothers and sisters. I often listen to Qu’ran recitation and call for prayer(Adan) in the morning or different times during the day when I want peace and harmony. We all believe the same God and should be open minded and respectful toward each other faiths. Love ✌🏼

I am glad for you, my friend, that you found the truth that you were looking for. I am born Muslim, but I studied all religions. All other religions are either myths like Hinduism and Buddhism, or religions that have been corrupted, such as Christianity and Judaism. Islam is the only true religion and this is something that I am 100% sure of. I hope that you will not delay your entry into Islam if you chose it because no one knows when we will die. I wish you well, peace

Allhumdilliah I have reverted to Islam now.. I once upon a time was a Christian and had no idea about the religion as I asked so many questions to the priest and could not get any answers. One day I stumbled across this beautiful recitation and started crying and could not figure out why I was. I knew my heart was not a Christian and went to speak to a sheik. The sheik asked me one question which really made me think that all this time I had wasted been a Christian I should of been a Muslim. He asked me, was Ibrahim before or after Jesus and I said to him I don’t know, he asked me to go and ask my priest that question and see what he replies to me. I later found out that my priest kind of brushed me off and was trying to side track me. I went back to the sheik and told him what had happened. The sheik explained to me that Ibrahim was born a Muslim not a Christian, so how was jesus a Christian after Ibrahim which really made me absorb what he said to me. I later found out the truth from the priest that Ibrahim was a Muslim not a Christian which made me disbelief what I was taught. Allhumdilliah for light in the tunnel 🙏🙏

Hi there! So .. I am trying to help... I converted with this account called reverthelp on tumblr (@reverthelp). They have been helping reverts for years and I ended up reciting my shahada with them. They taught me everything I know today and supported me all this time. They even found other reverts for me in my area, someone to teach me how to read and recite Quran and so many other things. I saw they started to be active on instagram also recently (@revert_help). Maybe they can assist you throughout your journey as well as they did with me ? The most amazing part is that they even helped me with my relationship with my mom. She was very hostile with me at the beginning and with their help, our relationship improved very well. They could answer any questions you might be having. Hope this helped. Much love!

Here is a tip: Say “Bismillah” 3x While your hand is placed on the injured or hurting part of your body like for example your stomach starts hurting, place your hand on the spot where you feel hurt and say “Bismillah” 3x it will start healing *By The Will Of Allah* Inshallah
