I’m reading my second Ann Patchett novel this week (courtesy of my local library) and I wonder; the two novels I’ve read everyone is super tall and Roman Catholic. Most them are Irish redheads too. Is this consistent throughout her work?

She was raised Catholic and attended a Catholic school growing up, so I believe it's a reoccurring theme for that reason. I'm not sure about the redheads, though.@@margo3367

This is planned ahead of time. The goal is to promote books. These authors promote, pass them onto the host who now read them and then discuss them for further promotion. Publishing houses no longer do the marketing they once did.
