China has a talent for doing great survival shows and then letting their groups crash down with a mid song, mid dance and an unbelievably weak marketing just to disband them a year and a half later, what a waste of trainees every time

so real bruh 😭 the thing is these companies have so much money too but they always give them these corny ass songs. the main point of the survival shows in china is to make the idols super successful individually, and the group usually comes second. That's why most CPOP idols become actors, bc actors are more popular and make more money than groups. Nine Percent made a tonnnnn of money - similar to top Kpop groups, but individual members like cai xukun and Zhu zhengting were able to surpass those profits just from acting, endorsements, and more.

You have to understand by now that CPOP is different from KPOP. China is actually focused on individual artists than groups unlike in Korea wherein they get that group as long as they can. Which is actually sad bc you'll love those C-trainees then they'll disband and later on you'll happy seeing them successful. LOL.

liek after the show, i rarely got updates from IXFORM since i was so busy in school and just get back with them this year (and they alr disbanded) but recently some clip of IXFORM passed on my feed here in yt and i remember everyone except for one coz i rlly did not rmbr him on the show and being part of the debut member, so i searched it on google and i realized it was jerome, the reason back then why i was so frustrated and sad about the results bec someone was more deserving of his spot. TT i rlly thought he’ll improve thru out the months of being the group but when i saw this performance of them, he still did not change and got worse than before TT i feel so bad for saying this but he really lack skills of an idol TT

seriously though :( when he got to debut, everyone (intl fans) was really so shookt when he was part of the debut member, i mean honestly speaking, he isn’t good in dancing and singing, people even say idol is not for him. the fact that he got to debut despite his lacking skills, we already know it was because of his looks (he is so popular bec of his visual esp. in china) and he also comes from a wealthy family - some c-idols got to debut bec of that :( it is just so sad that there are more talented that deserves his spot.

I discovered not long ago that ywy3 final group debuted so I was like “are we sure this guy is in top 9?” Bcoz no offence but he’s not made for the stage. If anything XinChe visuals will make the group more successful. You don't need to worry and SYH already quit the show anyway. I saw one K netizen comment last month(forget where) with his visual XinChe need to debut even if he is tone deaf. If anything it's international fans that is having problem with XinChe not the K netizens and some homophobic Chinese stans of other boys.
