My 3-legged cat is named Wyatt. Silas is great, but is steeply rising in modern popularity. Conrad doesn't sound too old-timey to me. I really like it. I personally love the name Soren. You don't see it very often, and it has a rich history. My friend has a kid named Soren and they call him Ren as a nickname, which is really cute.

My husband and I love unique diferent names, our sons name is Orion Rey. We love it becuase the constellation actually has meaning with both our zodiac signs and Rey means king in spanish. Now im 17 weeks with a another boy and are having a hard time because we like the O theme for my husband Oscar for son names but havent really found other unique meaningful ones we love. I do love the name Oliver though so that might be his name and since he will be a cancer the angel of the cancer sign is named Cael (pronounced kyle) so i love that meaning. These are all great names though i went to school with a silas and always thought it was so unique but would probably never use for my kid.

Lol your silas issue reminds me of me and my nephews kids. His baby is due in a couple of days and I'm due in June and they picked the name Easton River but in January my brother (his dad) died and they decided to use my brothers middle name so they're naming him Easton Anthony and I wanted to name my baby Weston Anthony and I thought the names were sooooo close and the whole "east" and "west" with the same middle names was too much for me lol!! It's a cute idea to some but I just didn't want such close names for our babies lol. So we've changed our little beans name for the sake of my sanity 😂

Jessica Wolz you should DEF name a daughter Journey. I know 2 girls named Journey and the only people who ever ask if she's named after the band is OLDER people. One girl was named Journey because she had a HARD time being concieved and then her pregnancy was extremely high risk and she almost passed during birth and her name was SUPPOSE to be Maddie but after her birth her parents named her Journey......p.s. I think Ryder is a cute name for a child, but it just doesn’t strike me as a name that would age well for an adult. Emmett was my number 1 choice! But not my husbands, his was Lincoln. We ended up choosing Maverick while I was pregnant. But when I got induced at 40 weeks. My husband told me he didn’t love maverick so I agreed we would see what he looked like before naming him, after 11 hours of labor, my sons heartbeat dropped below 50, so they had to do an emergency c-section. After my son was born I looked at my husband and said “I know what we should name him” he said “me too, but you go first” I said “Lincoln” he replied “you’ve gotta be sh@&$ me, I was thinking maverick”. Then everyone in the room laughed. We ended up naming him Lincoln Robert. Robert is a family name. But it’s just funny how it worked out. I was against Lincoln my whole pregnancy, and he didn’t like maverick at all. He just said yes to appease me. But I’m glad we went with Lincoln. It’s suits him so well 😊
