A great bike all around . I ve been riding enduro bikes all my life around 45 years of riding now and this bike is a great enduro bike. Nothing wrong with this bike at all . 👍

This a good honest review of the Xtrainer and t'all are welcome to ride my modified 2021 XT. The Marzocchi 45mm forks, Fox shock, and FMF Fatty Pipe have transformed it into the ultimate trail bike for me, a newish rider who is 5' 7'. Yes, I could have bough a 300RR and lowered it, but wanted the smaller frame of the XT. I found the stock front brakes grabby and replaced the pads with EBC reds(carbon). The stock Olle 43mm forks were somehow simultaneously soft yet also very deflective. MXT make a drop in Lucky Fork cartridge that a lot of riders seem to be happy with. I also replaced the stock Shinko 216MX Enduro tires with a Shinko F546 90/100 front and IRC VE33S rear, both with bibs. I'm just a 51-year-old Dad trying to keep up with his 14-year-old son(he rides a full-size KTM 250 XC like a boss)!

Thank you for the info on your XTrainer. This sounds like a great bike.

The propensity to feminize the X-trainer, or portray it as an entry level machine, seems ridiculous to me. There aren’t many riders whose skill level is in excess of what the Xtrainer can accommodate. If a smaller frame and a lower seat height connotes something juvenile to you, then you aren’t paying attention the videos that show what this motorcycle can do.

Great video. I need to sell my Kawasaki KLX 300 and get a Beta X-T. The Kawasaki is a durable machine but too heavy for me to pick up.

If you go fast in whoops or A-level riding buy an RR if you love single track and don’t care about high speed get the Xtrainer

The forks and rear shock is made by R16V they are from Ollè who makes trials forks primarily. They can be a little twitchy. I love my Extrainer model 2022, it is awesome Al around. Gooday

I’m torn between the xtrainer and the rr. Guess I’m watching to many videos. It would be strictly for single track where I don’t ride fast anyways. I like the price point of this bike and have seen more good reviews of it than bad. Decisions decisions

Even Beta calls it "Cross Trainer", a cross between slow speed trials and enduro. But people still calling it EX Trainer.🙄
@captainamerica93532 жыл бұрын
Given that it reads "X Trainer" on the sides of the tank, I'd say "EX Trainer" is ok.

I've always heard the X Trainer is unstable at higher speeds. You're saying it can go up to 75mph. I wouldn't care to go that fast, but I would like to somewhat keep up with my friends on faster less technical trails.
@cyclenews2 жыл бұрын
It still has good power (300cc) just tuned down from their moto/enduro models. Also in a more manageable chassis.
@KemshirerProperties7 ай бұрын
It’s perfectly stable at high speeds on smoother surfaces. The front suspension in particular, gets sloppy in rough terrain when going at race or near race speeds.

Suspension is manufactured by Olle (Spanish trials suspension company) not Sachs. Sachs is on most other Beta models. Grest review otherwise!

@@cyclenews no worries. The bike actually has R16V suspension. I believe they are known for use in trials bikes which Beta is well known for. In my humble opinion, this bike is a crossover between Betas trial bikes and there RR models. I have found that my bike is best suited for slower woods single track trail riding that does very well when the terrain gets rocky loose and downright nasty. It’s not great for faster desert riding. Once you get above 5th gear the front end and the suspension in general will wear the rider out due to the hard or jerky response to bumps. I’ve had my suspension sent out to someone who specializes in working with this bike’s suspension and it made minor improvements. But I didn’t get this bike for going fast and straight. I bought it for forest trail riding like I had mentioned earlier.

I have one, not broken in yet, still it doesn't like going over 60. I only have about 150 miles on it, but it's very light and with the knobbies and unbalanced wheels, it's not exactly a cruiser on pavement. Plenty fast off road, though.
