The sun glasses he mentioned ARE used in the final game. Outside of pinna park a Pianta will offer you glasses if you talk to him and will take them off if you talk to him again. The Pianta acts as a toggle on/off. However the glasses will disappear when you leave pinna park.

Robert Colton What he said is that the Sunglasses were originally going to be a special mode where you play the game with reduced brightness as it's the main function, but made it into an item ( which becomes available to you after defeating Bowser). You get the Shine Sprite shirt once you collect all 120 Shine Sprites.

Actually you can get the Sunglasses after collecting 30 shines, you get the shirt after beating Bowser, you don't need all 120 shines because I've gotten the shirt before 100 shines. Getting 120 shines gets you a different picture at the end of the credits. Yes you spend all that hard work just to get a different picture at the end of the long credits, not a cool feature or anything. A picture.

@@phet1211 It sucks ass. If my 10 year old laptop can give me a better experience, hell if my 14 year old Wii can give me a better experience, it sucks ass. This is extremely rushed, extremely lazy, and extremely flawed. It's emulation with all of its quirks but without the benefits (things like fullscreen, 60fps, etc). Mario 64 has screen smoothing and banding, input delay, audio delay, and the controls aren't mapped well at all. Sunshine has tons of performance issues and at times this 18 year old game can drop down to 10 or 15 frames. That's simply embarassing for a first-party Nintendo title. I won't even get into Galaxy's motion control and accessibility issues. Simply put, it feels like a fan-made game, except it's $60, limited time, and not nearly as good as any fan compilation I've ever seen. I love Nintendo, I love their games, but this just exposes the company as a greedy corporate entity. I don't understand how anyone who buys this doesn't feel manipulated, and the fact that some are going as far as defending it, some are even PRAISING it, is just depressing to me as a fan. As fans, we should be the ones who want to see quality and effort in Nintendo's games, we should be the ones pushing them to be their best. We should not be condoning or accepting something like this, because if it happens once, it'll happen again. If we push against it, they're more likely to change and improve. It's like paying for EA's micro-transactions, by paying for them you're letting them know that you're okay with them, except for the fact that even EA, even f*cking EA, doesn't stoop this low.

@@phet1211 Watch DigitalFoundry's video on the pack. Because they're emulated and not optimized very well, 64 and Sunshine have a bunch of performance issues. Audio and input delay are also just byproducts of emulation, there are loads and loads of videos and posts about it online. Galaxy is half-ported so it actually runs really well, but the controls absolutely suck. Even though both joy cons have motion control, you can only use the right one for the pointer, which is a pain in the ass if you're left-handed. And don't even get me started on Galaxy's controls in handheld mode, it just feels clunky and frustrating.

It could've made the game feel even more brimming since Isle Delfino is seemingly a popular vacation spot. Letting parts of your world freely intersect does so much to make your world feel more alive.

Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine were basically the only games I played until like 4th grade. Good times.

The names for the cut courses seem really interesting I honestly would of loved to see Lighthouse Island and Hotel Lecrima
