Excellent. I’m tempted to buy this for my son. He currently uses the Tx I began the hobby with namely a Turnigy Evolution on Flysky. I’ve built him a 3 inch with a tbs 800mw vtx so he’s loads of video but lacking in range. Interestingly I’ve been using my Jumper T-lite with Elrs max 250mw and using the audio tpwr alert. I’ve actually been very surprised at how quickly and how often the max power is required when using Dynamic power. I’ve not failsafed yet but I did drop from 250hz to 150 as I’m not as confident that my dji video will fail before my tx fail safes. So on the beta fpv 3 tx im wondering if the max 100mw would suffice for my son. But on a positive I can add a module…….. but I’ve just looked at the specs and it says it’s a 2000mah 1s battery not 2s. Theirs also pictures showing the betafpv nano elrs module max 500mw in the back of the lite 3 radio…. My question is Can this 1s tx run the elrs module on 500mw?

I rarely ever turn my power output up past 100mw unless i know im doing some sketchy shiz. (like long range) never had a fail safe or any issues at all. I'm confident that 100mw is more power that the average Joe needs.

Was this video recorded a couple months ago? Curious cuz we all knew the Zorro was also internally equipped with ELRS for some time now, rendering this radio not so special. For 60 bucks though, bang for the buck, man it could be a good seller for close in micro applications. Its as minimal as it gets, some people like that. I know a guy who just had to but the TX16S but barely does any more then enter the model name and some rates for fixed wing models. Informative vid, thank you

I was recorded a few weeks ago back when the zorro, and the t pro weren't in production.

I have this radio, I find that when I try to upgrade it to version 2, it allows my to upload the version firmware from the bin. file but will not connect or flash the upgrade firmware. Support from BetaFPV hasn't told me what could be the problem. Have you found out either. So I guess I have to wait as you do, that kind of sucks. I believe that they should have had the glitches out of the firmware fixed before release.

Noob question, how do you bind to different models with no screen? Is this radio for using with one specific model and receiver?
@TweetFPV2 жыл бұрын
You use the same binding phrase on every receiver and your radio will automatically bind to them provided they have the same major fw version on it.

Also I'm looking for a cheap radio just for simulator but I'm not decided if this is the one because doesn't have the option to connect it using bluetooth like all the others elrs radios with firmware version 2.x. For example right now Jumper T-Pro internal ELRS costs £68 while BetaFPV LiteRadio 3 is £55. One quick question there is any cheap JP4in1 nano module for Jumper T-Pro?
@TweetFPV3 жыл бұрын
there are a few 4-in-1 modules that you can get for the t-pro. The one from tbs is the one i would recommend. I have used the bluetooth game pad function that is built into ELRS and i was not impressed. There was a lot of latency and very poor range. But that could just be my setup.

its compatible with irx4 lite modul?
@TweetFPV3 жыл бұрын
No, it will only be compatible with crossfire, tracer, or expresslrs modules.

GET THIS OR THE JUMPER T-PRO ELRS VERSION ?
@TweetFPV3 жыл бұрын
Since this, the t-pro, and the zorro are the only options (right now with internal ELRS) if you can spare the few extra $$ for the t-pro i would say the t-pro. Between the zorro and the t-pro i think the zorro is going to be a better option. With that said i have yet to get my hands on the zorro. Should be here today. Then there is the iflight commando 8 coming in just a few weeks. There are so many bad design decisions on the t-rpo that it makes it a tough recommendation. On paper the t-pro is the one to get but that is just one part of the whole equation.
@revfpv79083 жыл бұрын
I dunno. The t pro for 20$ more would be superior once the elrs devs fix jumpers mistake for them. But for a kids radio, or a second radio for others to try fpv with its great.
@TweetFPV3 жыл бұрын
Yea that's a good point but when I recorded this the t pro wasn't a thing. This video was a little delayed.
