It's so true! A friend told me about these guys because we were discussing my kid's band that just came out with their first single. The band is "Miroux" and the song is Burgundy. Hoping they can gain traction but it's tough because how to stand out? Betcha and Miroux would be great on a double Bill, maybe they'll be at the same Fest one day. My favorite way to discover new bands, even if you don't attend a fest, youtube the bottom 50% of the acts playing. I've found a lot of up and coming acts that way. Grouplove, Cage the Elephant, even Skrillex! Best wishes Betcha on your growing success!

Absolutely, it's painful to think how many talented singers, musicians are unnoticed and shoved aside for garbage pop half the time isn't even true music just auto generated noise,recycled bullshit beats, where other the singer isn't truly singing just loudly whispering and well let's see "rap" literally sound like they're either obliterated from opioids and downers or just survived a massive stroke and have a quarter of their mental faculties left and unfortunately one of those faculties happens to be barely discernible speech, and it just kind of shows the mentality of the masses and they think is good music,anyway a good year ago, summer 2021 some mumble mouth, hip hop song came out the only thing really discernible they were saying from what I could tell, was "sus" and savage, to where all of these young kids can't even say suspect half the time, literally lazy enough to where they can't even say full and complete words anymore, anyway I think the media and music industry just kind of caters to the ever-growing stupidity and laziness of intellect as it scientifically is proven it's on a steady decline, anyway point I was making is I record it so when I knew as they were singing in this song not even to be an asshole or creepy or just like hey I want to show you something dude and his girlfriend too and they're both singing the song I'm like look at your faces as you're singing this do you realize you just like look blank expressionless and if anything no offense kind of stupid? At first they're like no fuck you whatever, then struck them they both were like you actually make a point!?! And it's like you know metal Rock may shout May yell sometimes maybe a little aggressive but you actually read the lyrics they're vernacular vocabulary fire exceeds a lot of what we consider or a lot of people consider to be chart-topping quality musical geniuses when they are anything but, they don't even fully follow music theory anymore the beats are so predictable and repetitive and light every time I hear something on the radio for the most part dopamine levels completely drop to the point where I am just about ready to fall asleep well-being on a stimulant medication no one is Adderall and I literally to come to that level of boredom that it surpasses the stimulant effect because I'm so intrigued and in perpetual boredom and complete disbelief or understanding as to how people actually can credit this is true music? On the other hand though rock metal most artists have gone to the safe space of having more radio friendly stuff not to say that it sounds bad music needs to evolve and in most cases it sounds really good can't do the same thing over and over however at least they enunciate pronounce their words actually sing with true vocal ranges actually play the guitars play insanely rhythmic and precise drum lines like everything works excellent with most like for example great song excellent music theory even an orthodox at times steps outside but still keeps very discernible numbers in the music theory and the song sounds awesome and that would be bastards by bullet for My Valentine, anyway this is like one of my favorite songs over the last few years July simple but great talent that's just again underappreciated and just looked over well again people that literally sound like they have survived a stroke to a repetitive over produced over recycled beat somehow get all the credit and it's just sad LOL didn't mean to go on a tangent however it's nice to know that there's a handful of intellectuals because it's proven that people that can listen to rock metal and such regularly usually are of higher IQ and EQ so those out there should embrace those inner qualities among the majority of predictable typical listeners 👍
