Yes it is hell... I’ve had other surgeries and let me tell you... when I had to have. Hysterectomy cut hip bone hip bone!! 96 staples and 3 layers of stitches... I awoke and thought I was literally on fire! I was actually pulling the cover to see the fire!! That was the worst pain in my life!! I had all my babies the normal way!! Oh yeah there was pain.. but nothing like this cut from hip bone to hip bone and the staples!! Omgosh!! Anybody says it’s nothing!! I’m scared o you! Lol!! More power to them!! Even with morphen.. it still was bad.. cough! cough!! The worst!

Beth and Dr. Steve..Thank you so much for doing this . I am dealing with exactly the same thing. I never had C-Sections but I did have numerous surgeries where the surgeons approach was through the front. Before my spine surgery I had a nice fairly flat tummy but not the case after. Once I got out of the ICU and the bandages were changed I was horrified to see this pendulous mess hanging over my panties. I gained some weight after this surgery so am having bariatric surgery and once the weight is gone I will go and have this procedure done. I refuse to accept that this is how I will have to go through the rest of my life. I am 54 and have a lot more living to do.

Big boobs happen, either naturally or enhanced, either way, they're a PITA to deal with, always in your face or someone else's face and in the way. I think Beth's problem might be that she's in the wrong size bra. She has a lot of spillage coming over the top of the bra cups. A good bra fitting, along with this tummy tuck, she'll look fabulous.

I didn't even Know her personally but I got close with them all from watching them from my home as a Fan, I use to watch it with my mom then as I moved on I kept on watching I looked up to Beth and Dog. I laughed when they did and I got mad at what others did to them on the show and I also Cried. I really can say that Beth and I have so much in common I have always been my own worst critic towards myself... From finding out from Dog that she would wouldn't agree on how beautiful she is, I am the same way. I can't find myself to see what others see of me. Alison Dawson I do not want to make excuses for her, because I agree that was a shitty thing to say; But, I think she meant luxury items and/or things you can do without, like soda, candy bars, fatty or sugary foods, items that will only exasperate weight problems or body confidence issues.. I don't think she meant 'starve yourself and your children to afford plastic surgery'. We must remember Beth is not from a privileged background and likely did not acquire any higher education than a high school diploma and perhaps some trade school classes (not to diminish anyone with a trade school education. Doctors used to think that once a woman has a c-section, she would always have to have one but that's not true. Beth probably could have delivered her last 3 children naturally but c-sections are a lot more convenient for the doctor. My cousin had her first 2 children by c-section but the last was a natural birth so it can be done.
