Biblical teaching clearly states women should not be in the pulpit. Therefore, I completely tuned her out.

There are a lot of good Baptist churches but if I were sitting there when she started this up, I would have stood up and left.

@@jimlewis5477 Beth Moore is no longer SBC. She is ACNA now. This was likely in an ACNA.

Beth Moore was a SBC “Superstar” for years and focused primarily on ministry to women. She sold millions of books and teaching materials through SBC’s publishing arm Lifeway book stores; over 20 million books in 2018 alone. Not exactly sure why it all went south but at one time she was certainly one of the most influential women ever in both Baptist and non-Baptist circles.

Also, I agree wholeheartedly with what you said in your intro paragraph, " If Methodism is to continue to insist on the place of women in the pulpit, it will be very important for Methodist women to roundly rebuke wokeism and consumerism in the pulpit, as it displayed here." It seems like EVERY time I see a video on KZbin demonstrating something horrible going on with wokeism in a church, oftentimes it is some woman decked out in rainbow garb preaching a different "gospel," and while yes, there are men doing it as well, the women inspire multitudes of comments such as, "And this is why God doesn't allow women to be pastors, preachers, teachers, etc." At the same time though, I highly suspect that many of these woke women may not have ended up on this path of destruction had they not been forbidden from ministry in more traditional churches, in which case they might have been more appropriately mentored in scripture and doctrine and thus more spiritually protected.

BTW - Beth Moore used to be SBC. She has been ACNA for the last 3 years now.

Slight correction, Beth Moore has been a false teacher forever. Which says what about the SBC and the ACNA...?
@TheDCinSC20 сағат бұрын
@Rhonda-x3x Well, she's not ordained, so it's primarily a case of the parish that recieved her.

This is the most I’ve heard from Ms Moore. I’ve heard enough. Thank you Ma’sm for your opinion. Time for me to make a pot of coffee. I will get more from the coffee.

Less than 2 minutes in and it may as well be Robin DeAngelo at the pulpit. I knew she was going down this path, but yikes!
