​ @Heba Las NOT a fan of Jaime either but I think it would be a little too "on the nose" for him to be the culprit. It's not really his area of expertise either. I think it was his shady bio dad "Garrett Randall" who set things in motion - likely unbeknownst to Jaime. As easy as it would be to blame Jaime, he wouldn't want Kayce harmed. I think the lengthy scene between Jaime and Randall had much more significance than it seemed at the time. Jaime decided that he was done with protecting the ranch and the family. He was going to look out for himself from then on. Randall seemed even more vengeful though. He wanted Jaime to get revenge too - and without his other siblings alive, Randall may have assumed the ranch would go to Jaime which would be lucrative for him (so long as he could fool Jaime). Roarke and Co. would not have done things this way while they were "at war" with the Duttons. They would and will be immediate suspects which would only worsen matters. Whoever it was might have been planning to use Market Equities as their scapegoat. Not bad. Nevertheless, they still did a sloppy job. The ranch would just go to Tate. Roarke would have likely known that about Tate too. Randall - probably not. Stupidity factors in here and I'm betting on Randall.

In season 1, I didn’t care for Beth’s character much. By season 3, she is one of my favorite characters on the show. She is an amazing and talented actress. She’s not evil, she just has had a rough and tough life where she has to be a bit on the crazy side. Love the two together. Rip is also a great actor. 5:15 broke down at this part. It reminded of a time where my significant other tried taking her life, and so when her father had told me I drove so damn fast to her house.
