Believe it or not, I'm Christmas crafting for Christmas season 2022! This past ChristmasI started a side gig wrapping and decorating gifts, so I'm making bows, gift bags and embellishments, the weather is dreary, so a perfect time to craft.

hey Bethany, a tip I find for making the matless smart vinyl easier to release to transfer tape is to warm it with a heatgun or a hair dryer before I try and separate it - it makes it a LOT easier.

I agree...the smart vinyl is a bear to work with but it stays on drinkware so well. I have mugs I put in the dishwasher (big no no, but I'm a little lazy, lol) and the smart vinyl hasn't budged. So it is my go to choice for drinkware. Worth the pain in the butt transferring.

You are correct! The Maker 3 cuts faster with just the smart materials. I was debating the Maker and the Maker 3 and picked the Maker (much cheaper and was on sale) because I knew I'd not be using the smart materials enough for it to matter to me. :) Have a great holiday!
