I’ve had my Cricut Explore Air for about five years now, and I have to admit that I’ve only used it for paper cutting. My husband bought me an 8x8 Easy Press as well as the little mini hand held press. Thanks to your tutorials I feel confident enough to finally take the plunge. I don’t know why I feel so intimidated by the thought of cutting vinyl. With a little luck, I’ll start early and put together a nice stash of personalized Christmas gifts for next year.

Another cute project that can be made for my wine drinking family/friends. If I had $100 to shop with, I would go straight to the iron on vinyl aisle and buy $100 worth of vinyl.

I would run to the Cricut aisle, of course, if we were in Michaels. If were were in Hobby Lobby, probably the Christmas section. Although, I do like Sue S's idea to go to the counter and buy a gift card to take your time in deciding!!!

The gift card idea is brilliant! If that wasn't an option, I'd get any of the Cricut items that are on my wish list like the Easy Press, a mat and some HTV. It's time to give that a try.

Depends on the craft store. For some I would go DIRECTLY to the wood section. Others I would go to the vinyl. Others I would probably go to the area that has embellishments to add to cards or whatever. I agree also, I LOVE to wander around a craft store. My problem is I never have the money to afford to buy everything I want. Being on a VERY limited budget really sucks. Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness never ran out of money when shoppong for crafting supplies. LOL Neither my hubby, Tim, nor I personally drink but this can also be used for water bottles or anything in a bottle that fits. Or really anything else that fits. Even things like desk/craft supplies like scissors, rulers, whatever. Even small toys or card games for kids to tote with them when traveling. I love the vinyl in this project. Sooo pretty. LOOOOVE the green. So sparkly. Now you just need to add chocolate in the glass to go with the wine. Or a chhese of the month club gift card. Another great video.

You can, but I never had success with it because it was too difficult to determine the best heat setting. I quickly invested in the EasyPress and it was my best purchase to date.
