The devil wants me to give up on my faith but I WILL NOT! I know all things are possible with Jesus. So as I continue to struggle to provide for my children and myself I keep faith. Lord hear my prayers. I’m so discouraged as a single mother trying to make it on my own struggling to buy groceries struggling to pay bills but with you by my side Lord I cannot fail. Thank so much for talking about your miscarriages and how God provided for you comforted you restored hope and gifted you with 4 children. I lost my second baby through a miscarriage. Amazing word. Because of my hurt when my son died and was not healed, even though i chose in the moment to trust God with his life, and Jesus brought me into such an intimate place with Him over those months. I dont doubt He can heal, but sometimes when praying over others, i feel the need to protect their possible disappointment. God revealed to me that i shouldn't carry that. That its good to get my hopes up in Jesus...i pray with certainty and He does everything else. I am just a vessel. So now i get my hopes up...ive got a Living Hope, Jesus...He loves people more than i ever could

Good message about remembering- thank you. I have to remember also the emotions of times I’ve not been as active in the spirit and the drastic difference of my peace and emotional joy! It reminds me to stay snuggled up close- don’t look back - there’s nothing there. Remember that!

Anytime Bill shares, it flows from a heart of mercy and grace, love and truth. I remember listening to him for years while driving home from work, and couldn’t wait until I got home so I could run into my room and commune undistracted with Holy Spirit. That’s the effect all messages of the Spirit should have on those that have an ear to hear. It’s Bill’s communion with the Father which releases the impartation of truth to those who would receive. So love this man! And Bethel church! Thank you!

This is just another example of using a text to make a point rather than just teaching from the text. They did not just forget and then maybe accidentally tempted God. The text is clear, they did indeed forget his works (vs 17), but they "sinned still more against Him, rebelling against the Most High in the desert. They tested God in their heart... they spoke against God... (vs 17-20). We absolutely should remember what God has done! I 100% agree with Johnson when he says this and it is a good practice. But my "forgetting" doesn't nullify anything. My "forgetting", which is very subjective, is bound and found to be renewed in His Word, not by just looking at my circumstances and past. Min 1:27 "Whenever in my thinking I consider the possibility that this that I'm praying for will not happen it means I forgot." So, we can't even consider the idea that someone might not get healed? What if it flashes through my mind? What if that stage 4 cancer has

None of what Bill is teaching is intended to condemn anyone for a negative outcome. What he is doing is raising the bar of our expectation for what is possible and helping us to identify the indicators of where our level of unbelief is at. Again, this is not to shame anyone but to help us know what to go after. Getting healed in the places where we have unbelief, hurt or bitterness is a really significant way to remove obstacles. If you'd like some scriptural support for this, here you go: ‭‭Matthew 17:18-21 KJVAAE‬‬ "[18] And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. [19] Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? [20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove: and nothing shall be impossible unto you. [21] Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Bill wasn't off track in his interpretation of Mark 8:14-21, either. You came to the conclusion that the passage was about Jesus being the Messiah, but the passage doesn't say that - it's simply your interpretation. Whether Jesus meant that or whether He meant that they should live with an expectation that they would see God provide supernatural provision, we cannot tell directly from the text. Both are interpretations. But it is clear that Jesus was expecting them to have learned from the feeding of the 5000 and the feeding of the 4000, and to either see, hear or remember. That much is in the text.

It was not God’s will for your friends 8 year old to die. And Bill or God is not blaming anyone for that tragedy. We are all growing up into Christ, in love and good works which includes our faith and healing the sick. John 9 is one of my favorite illustrations. I believe the author of the Message Bible clearly conveys this idea that it’s never about blaming others but always about doing the work of our Father. I feel for too long we’ve been asking the wrong questions. Peace to you friend! John 9:1-5 MSG Walking down the street, Jesus saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked, “Rabbi, who sinned: this man or his parents, causing him to be born blind?” [3-5] Jesus said, “You’re asking the wrong question. You’re looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do. We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over. For as long as I am in the world, there is plenty of light. I am the world’s Light.”
