Springs and shocks not up to the challenge but we take on the hard section of Bethel Ridge on the WABDR anyway and it was worth it!

We did Section 2 of the WA BDR last weekend in our 2023 Subaru Ascent. It was awesome! I look forward to doing the rest of the WA BDR at some point. We are going to do the entire Utah BDR this October. Bethel Ridge is a beautiful area though on the WA BDR.

That is awesome! Did you do the crawl along the ridge and down through the trees with all the ruts? Some of the ruts were 2 to 3 feet deep so it must have been an adventure in the Suby!

@@theoldjarheadsoffroad Yeah some of those ruts were really deep! We were able to avoid most of them. There were some trails that went around the rut areas or in some cases we just straddled them as best we could. It was super dry when we went last weekend, so no mud or anything. Thanks for sharing your video!

Went back up this weekend and had a great day but the area up top was closed so turned back to Nile. Still beautiful to be up there again!

Several of us are heading there in a couple days. We need to take Bethel Ridge to get to Little Rattlesnake 4x4 trail.

Engine was running hot?

Yup! Now I have the jscan ap and can run the fan as needed and learned it wasn't as hot as I thought. Meaning it was hot yes but not more so than nor.al for a jk off road in 4 low up in the mountains and the electric fan cooled it down when it ran
