My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE! I'm speechless... The Holy Spirit is pouring out of my phone and I'm just.. full. That peace, it really does completely surpass all understanding of it.. it cannot be processed into thoughts.. all I can do is let it wash over me.. I lost my husband of 30 years married in a car crash April of 2021 and I went off the rails, this last year has been God showing me the way back, and I see now that the loss of Jeff does not destroy me. It's part of my journey home. Jesus is everything I need. I'm completely loved and He has a plan that I can't conceive of myself.

I don't know if you, Melissa Helser, read any of these comments but I'm in a season in my life where God has directed me to read the Psalms, as well as studying 1 & 2 Samuel in Community Bible Study. I've tried running away from God so many times. But no matter how much I run, I hide or deny the reality in my experience with him, it's impossible. His love makes me feel safe. It makes me wiggle my toes with joy because every day with him is a mystery but a shoulder I know I can fully lean on and trust. He keeps me steady. He keeps me sane. He's my safe place. It's Christmas Eve played this for my 3 month old granddaughter during her feeding time. When the holy spirit came in she no longer desired her earthly milk. She stared in one direction and didn't not move. Then came that smile that only the Holy Spirit can give. By the end of the song she took a nap. Her soul was feed with the Love of God.
