There’s a difference tho. Ofc it’s fine if your friend introduces you to someone and then arranges more hangouts together and your friendship naturally develops. It’s another thing briefly meeting a friend of a friend and immediately jumping in them, making plans 1 on 1 with them, excluding the original friend. All things aside, I find that weird. Just make friends yourself?
