Not being able to forgive is like throwing hot coal at someone hoping to burn them but guess who gets burned first or alone: *YOU*. Forgive not because someone else deserves it but because you deserve *peace* - how long shall you replay an incident in your mind (especially the very hurtful ones) before you collapse of blood pressure?? I have a friend whom I told that her boyfriend made a pass at me (and I did it when it got waaay too much I couldn't take it) she told him and he called me all sorts of bad names, he said I was an enemy of their union-they remained together and I looked a damn fool. I still interact with her but concerning the men in her life I stay off limits and even if I found her man mounting another girl she'd be on her own with that! However funny thing is that - they are both tripping over themselves trying to make something work that clearly can't because the guy has 99 problems and yes a -bitch- female is one ;)
