I'd love a lore accurate remake of Oblivion and Skyrim that places both game worlds to scale. I wouldn't count on those remasters, plans change all the time look at ghostwire tokyo sequel on there for example. the studio is disolved and reformed at krafton now, they aren't making that anytime soon, if ever. they're making a hi-fi rush sequel. bethesda has also talked about putting as much effort as possible in terms of manpower into tes6, and entering full production with it, and more starfield dlc in the mean time. on top of working alongside bgs austin on fo76 content updates. They could have a remaster planned that is far more like fo4 next gen upgrade. just a res bump and some extra content, plus all existing mods will now be broken, and a lot of authors have since stepped away from the scene itll likely kill tens of thousands of mods. don't expect actual asset upgrades or better features aside from maybe better water, better shadows, and increased res of some ground textures.

I personally stopped playing that game after they moved Starched Genes to Endurance. Completely destroyed my build I spent 2 years creating. An update is supposed to bring content and fix issues, not change what's already there. I'm basically never buying another Bethesda product ever again. I don't want to spend another 2 years building my character back up because now I have to shift my focus to collecting Endurance cards. My build isn't even possible anymore. Edit: CDPR did it the RIGHT way with Cyberpunk 2077 on the 2.0 patch. They changed the entire character building system but allowed users to reallocate their points, while also maintaining the ability to create the same builds in older patches. Something Bethesda could never do.

All we need from an Oblivion Remake/Remaster is: - QOL improvements - visual enhancements - a built-in mod browser for console and PC - a reworked levelling system that isn't horrible - plugins/DLCs to be naturally integrated into the game world rather than spamming the player with quests the moment they escape the sewers a bonus would be to hire a handful of actors to replace half of the characters in the world so it isn't filled with the same 7 voices

I love Oblivion exactly as it is. It's hands down my favorite Elder Scrolls. It is a shame they said they aren't ever going to remake Morrowind (iirc). Some may feel it should be left alone, but imho it really needs to be updated. I'd REALLY love if it was updated to Oblivion style, not Skyrim, but that is 100% out of the question.

MS also stated how they were going to push FO5 to a sooner release which means they had a plan when to release it but because of FO's success they talked about speeding up the process. so a lot of this makes sense.

Thats bullshit. Fallout 5 isnt even in the conceptual phase. It would take at least 6 - 8 years for the next game. 2032 is around when it will be released, so its a NEXT GEN game. For the PS6 and next Xbox.
