Easily, I haven't met all of the preppers and play on very hard so structures decay super fast in Death Stranding, there's always something that needs to be repaired. The game transforms and gets way better at chapter 3 so push, you'll be super glad you did it.@@wolvesandsheeple2543

Still on my first game I started at least two years ago, preppers have what's known as 'Standard Orders' that you can complete, the orders can be repeated over and over again for more materials (for repairs), these orders are optional and can be ignored. I'll be surprised if Starfield has a similarly long lasting end game. Saying that Bethesda aren't known for creating short games lacking content.@@punani_slayer4209

I’m a Sony guy, PS5 owner, but this game has been on my radar for a few years. I bought the series S just to try this. I’m hoping it’s at least playable on the S. It will be 1440p on the Series S instead of 4k. That's the biggest difference. In an interview after the Direct, Director Todd Howard said he'd mostly been playing it on the Series S. I assume this is because he wanted to ensure fidelity.

Stop using the phrase "please don't be a disappointment like cyberpunk", it's a broken record, the situation is not even close to CP situation, you've never seen a deep ingame footage as the ones Bethesda showed before CP launch (and on console side nothing at all), you just blind pre-ordered without seeing a thing and/or believed to the paid review (9.5-10) they gave at the time (but the vid on youtubes were well uploaded to see the mess it was and still it is). Starfield is at the complete opposite place, we pratically know everything about the game and, first of all , WE'VE ALREADY SEEN A LOT OF THE GAMEPLAY AND IN A VERY DEEP WAY. The good and bad things are already well known and all on the table. No surprises here. Unless you're not informed, but that's your problem.

I'd like to remind people of the kind of guy Pete Hynes is. During an interview he was asked about Bethesda adding monetization to Fallout 76, and customers saying they lied. For anybody who doesn’t understand just how big Starfield is…..Red dead redemption 2, was about 99 GB, that had to be split into 2 different discs…..Starfield is weighing in about 126.1 GB.

This looks like EVE and Mass Effect combined and then massively injected with space steroids. EVE has over 7000 star systems, but you can't land on anything. But you do make your own story. Mass Effect gives you some agency, but it does/did have a great story.

@@alexho2620 Without wanting to be gullible, i assure you it is going to be a crazy-good huge game. I played all the solo BGS games and i played those A LOT. They never disappoint when it comes to solo rpg games. I'm not easy with devs and games generally but in this case trust me you can buy it eyes closed when it comes out. If you like sandbox rpg where you can create your own character from scratch and specialize it in any custom abilities available (and usually theres a lot, far more than enough), play the game as you want (playing the main quest for 15 hours straight and then doing all side missions/faction missions for hundreds of hours), build you ship, build bases on any planet you choose and aim for a chill ressources management gameplay for some hours and finally go back to main story or anything you want. I just love BGS and Starfield is the culmination of Bethesda, it is the ultimate Bethesda game. More than 20 years of rpg video game development to finally arrive at this. Sorry for the novel ❤️ Now i think you know everything you need to know. Have a good day sir !

Starfield will not lack Nvidia support. If a game was to be released that only offered DLSS, it would actually lack AMD and Intel support. But a developer would never do that because FSR cost nothing to implement (royalty-free) and both Xbox and PS5 are AMD along with a 1/5 or so of the PC market.

Even in Skyrim; 160 hours is nothing compared to how many hours you can enjoy the game if you want to explore and experience everything; let alone a game that is hundreds of thousands of times bigger in size and has multiple times of content and decades of experience of creating experiences that people play for decades; not to mention all of the different choices that make each moment of the game different.

This game sounds awesome. Sadly my Series X died on me 2 months out of warranty so I no longer have one. Might get this for PC if my RTX 3060ti can run it.

I can 100% agree with Pete, that Starfield live action trailer has easily become my all-time favorite. Everything from the combined visuals and underlying soundtrack choice, to the small bond that the pilot and trainee shared over space travel and exploration; was executed perfectly. I am beyond hyped for this game.

I'm certain that this game was a typical Bugthesda title one year ago. I keep hearing that the delay REALLY helped the game in every facet. I don't know why Todd is so insistent on truncating development time. If Starfield is their most polished game - let alone the biggest, most ambitious - I hope he learns something.

Sounds like I need to live in Germany. The gamers there have much better taste in games as they are like me with rpgs. Honestly, the big thing here is this is a new IP for Bethesda in how long??? 25 years, something like that? So yeah, this is huge and the scope of Starfield is huge. Bethesda is one of my favorite game developers after the 90's. If anyone actually paid attention to what Todd Howard said about Fallout 76 being more of an experiment as it was new territory for them then you wouldn't of gone full in on that game. Starfield is on the new game engine Creation 2 so I'm expecting some big visuals. I'm also eager to see what else they are able to do in the new game engine. Of course there will be bugs, it's tradition. I'm hoping I don't run into game breaking bugs like all the game of the year editions of previous titles. No matter what your opinions are for Starfield most of us will find out next week on September 1st. I'm excited but also realistic. I think we'll have a great time in the game. I can guarantee it will not be another Redfall scenario.

Considering the watch, I hope it's not just a "real life cosmetic" to wear as an accessory but actually functional. - I read that it has connectivity, albeit limited they warned, perhaps... only to like Android or something?... Which would screw me out of it. But... I kinda hope it's customizable to show anything you want, or at least that someone comes up with a hack or mod or something. - Otherwise, on ebay it goes. If it has nothing interesting or useful to display, that is.
