The cool thing is we're basically getting another Indiana Jones movie that's set in between Raiders and The Last Crusade. This is completely Canon. And we're able to play it. That's pretty sweet! And it seems to be made like the older trilogy.

This preview shows me that the developers are true Indiana Jones fans, not just guys using a beloved franchise to cash in. I can already tell that the story and locations in this game will be 100x better than anything The Dial Of Destiny movie had to offer. The final line about "This journey that we've poured our hearts into" really hit. I... I honestly cannot believe how good this looks. As a HUGE Indy fan... i never thought they would be able to recreate the feel of the original trilogy. But I think I stand corrected. It looks so... Indy. Baker does an amazing Ford impression, the music feels very Williams-esque, I love the vibrant and alive looks of the locations, the Lucky Hat perk is just pure gold, and I love environmental puzzles. If they can stick the landing with the story telling, this could very easily become an all time favorite of mine.

This looks great, i’m so excited to play it. Such a love letter to indy, but especially Raiders, one of if not my favorite film of all time. The sound design is fantastic, love the pulpy punches and whip sounds, and it’s a great Williams inspired score. I used to imagine playing as indy in tons of first person shooters, so finally DOING it is perfect to me. Seems like first person is peoples biggest issue, but i’m psyched. Looks great with the focus on puzzles. I love seeing that there are tons of ways to find hints for puzzles, that leads me to believe they can be a LOT harder than i’d expect if they give some consistent ways to find help in-game like with your journal and camera. Seeing some swastikas on the medals, I shouldn’t have been concerned about this from Machine Games but I was slightly in the other footage. It just looks brilliant, i’m so happy with the focus and everything i’ve seen. Cannot wait to snag it on PS5.

The game looks like it's learning all the right lessons from Uncharted by making puzzle hints optional with the camera and integrating a journal. That said, I feel like Indy talks to himself a bit much? There's bits where he pipes up in the trailer that feel a bit out of character, like reassuring himself that he can do something. It's been awhile since I've seen the movies but I don't remember him doing that very much. It feels like "classic AAA protagonist that talks to themselves too much" syndrome. That said, I do think this looks like a return to form for MachineGames and I hope this game hits the mark. It looks like it has a solid chance of doing so.

for the combat to not be clunky, for the enemies to not be borderline braindead, and most of all it needs to be fun. i get that for some of you just seeing a character you recognize overloads your brain and you cant see past that. but for the rest of us normal people we care more about if the game is fun.

God, I remember these games for the Ps2. They were some of the best 3d platformers, with some of the best graphics of the time. So glad they're coming back.

This looks like fun! I've added it to my wish list on Steam. I note that it is a first person game but in the video above we do see Indy quite a bit. I like that there appears to be quite a lot of cinematic moments. Can't wait to play this one!

What does Machine Games have to do with any of that? They didn't make Wolf 2009. If someone were to remaster that, they'd probably farm it out to one of their backup studios. And that's if they could even secure the rights to it. It was published by Activision right around the time that Zenimax acquired Bethesda, and now it's in some sort of limbo where neither of them have the rights to sell it anymore.
