But when this war is over and I see your face again, Then I'll tell you of the warriors who put death before revenge.

In memory of my dear friend Paddy Mac I tyre, who survived the blanket protest, escaped from G-Blocks, and did what every true Irish man is bound to do hear and soul, reported back for active service. Paddy passed away recently, but his spirit lives on, a spirit can never be broken. We will have our 32 county Republic. Baa no an bua! 💚🇮🇪

yes i know you have lived in Ireland for a good part of your life, and i condemn no man for taking up Irelands fight for for freedom,my grandfather fought the treaty that created the free state, but as i say the most important people are the nationalist communites in the North,in which the majority support the peace process, and if they want to try the ballot box why not let them,we could argue the point all day.Independant Republican? i could argue back wot you said about dissident rebels..Tal

Hi Chris, Do you vote and support Sinn Fein?.....Do you welcome Cairde na hÉireann?
@20ross11 bit coincidental that he formed this new band, changed his political allegiance and got a shit load more money for playing the gigs now than they did before. ach well, as i say m8, takes nothing away from the fact they are good to listen too, just very very unlikely ill ever hear them live lol

Making the decision to die for a belief is not generally considered cowardice. No matter what you believe about the Hunger strike it certainly was a defining moment in history.
