The course almost looks playable from the White Tees at 6,704 yards & Par 71 The PGA Championship, at Par 70 & 7,486 yards - 782 yards longer and 1 stroke less, was a wee bit harder. Awesome stuff

You lads need to get an app on your phone to give you the layout of the holes. Use your rangefinders by all means but atleast it would give you an idea of how the holes run.

Need the Golfshot app, really helpful on courses where you’ve not played before. Map for each hole with GPS from your location. Works really well and helps take the guesswork out of how to play tee shots in particular.

Course still looks tough! Always wonder how you guys don’t know the shape of a hole or what’s down there. Aren’t there pictures of the hole on the tee or scorecards at these fancy places? Even if it’s not perfectly accurate it would help.

Bethpage isn't a 'fancy place.' It's a state park, open to the public. However, there are maps on the scorecards for the other four courses, but not for the Black.

Slept in parking lot many times. Best score was 69 from back tees before 1st Open when course was rated 76. I'll have a tough time doing that again with the length they added, plus I moved to Florida!

Well when they were talking before about not being sure whether they would be able to play or not, they found out that there's a massive first-come-first-serve queue for (if i remember correctly) only 2 hours of tee times, so I would imagine they would be forced to keep a good pace. I think usually they get a big chunk of times booked out to give them time/space to do their thing without getting in anyone's way.
