Thanks for a great reaction. It was a pity you didn't have the captions as the lyrics are beautiful but deep. This song was composed by Igor Krutoy (at piano) 25 years ago (1994) the same year Dimash was born. Although Dimash could have had a career in opera, he chose his own path of what he calls neo-classical as he wanted to explore his vocal range.

Thanks for the wonderful reaction. It is one of my absolut favourites of Dimash. It was a performance on a tribute concert to celebrate tje russian singer and superdiva Alla Pugacheva whom sung this song 25 years ago. You'll find the video with english lyrics on his official channel.

Because, very few pop singer has and feel themself in need of learning classical technique. In Dimash case, he utilize his uniqueness and his classical technique and integrates it into the pop songs. We have now a super ultra wide timbre never been achieved.

His ability to transcend the technical (because he's pretty much mastered it) and simply focus on the emotive is IMHO unparalleled - I expect Dimash is gonna re-set the bar for pop singers too... He just needs to take his time and master English diction.. and it's game over. He's gonna have major songwriters lining up to write for him.

The thing with Dimash is that he is in this way like Frank Zappa, totally focused on the art of bringing the emotion and the story to the audience, using whatever style will bring this forward. Mastering everyone of them. In music there is a lot of fundamentalism on either side. Neither Dimash nor Zappa care for this, as true artists they are prepared to break all dogmas and rules to obtain this. Dimash has already become a master of this. Astonishing. Please look a version with subtitles, the text is so beautiful and you would understand why he is using the technique at the moment he does. No other singer today takes me on such an amotional roller coaster. And just as he opens you up he just lifts you to the next level. Nobody else today can do this

I really liked your reaction. Thanks. Dimash is one of my favorites. I have watched a few reactionvideos of this song, and I am surprised no one hasn't commented the silent section at about 8:10. You can see he is waiting the reaction from the audience. Of course he will get a standing ovation for this preformance, and he obviously knows it. But I think anyway it's quiet brave, and shows the confidence of Dimash. I love how plays with his audience. This section wa the most impressing from my point of wiew. The complete silence for a few seconds, made this song even better. WOW!

Your comments are right on. It is impossible to not be moved by Dimash. He brings emotion out of you and rips you apart. He is a phenomenon. With his unsurpassed God given talent , 20 years of learning and practicing, his dedication to his art, the fact that he is so grounded and is an all around great human being...the sky is the limit. He is already huge in Russia, Asia and especially China. He has not conquered the Western market yet. But it is just a matter of time. There is nothing more that Dimash needs to learn about singing as he has mastered every aspect of the singing technique. He needs to find great songwriters like Igor Krutoy to work with and I suspect that pretty soon all the great ones will be knocking at his door. He is working on his English which has improved tremendously. Once this is done and with the support of a great management team, he will soar. I predict that he will get Grammys within the next 5 years. He will be known as the best singer that ever lived.

Before checking the technical training Dimash had , some biological advantages he has that make him unique. Both parents singers (mother soprano), basketball level tall (1.94 m) - huge lungs, born and raised in high altitude - tremendous assistance for any physical activity (including singing). And he trained systematically for 20 years

I love your enthusiasm when he pops out of his angelic interlude; it's so pure. That reaction is probably what I look for most in Dimash reactors... that moment when they are both awed and inspired.
