You can really tell that Biggie wanted to end this beef, especially after it became bigger than him and 'Pac. Two visionaires that died too early. I discovered their music pretty late, but I'm so glad that I did. I listen to both new rap (which a lot of oldschool fans hate) and oldschool stuff, but the oldschool stuff just has a different vibe which I don't know if it will be replicated ever again. Snoop was meant to go on the radio to promote his music but his session was cancelled. Following after, Snoop's radio session cancellation, Biggie phones the radio station and expresses that Snoop and Dogg Pound are making New York look weak, and they shouldn't be in New York making videos because it makes the city look soft. Biggie then gives the location of their trailer, live, on the radio, while also believing Tupac was with them, Snoop and the Dogg Pound's trailer gets shot up in New York after Biggie's speech on the radio. This is what made Tupac go haywire, setting up the events before Hit Em Up. Snoop, DJ Quik, The Doggpound, and Tupac then make a song dissing Biggie for having their trailer shot up and various New York artists for throwing subliminal disses at them on the song "New York 87".

@Marie Richard You're dumb. Everyone told Biggie not to go to LA. Jay Prince informed Puffy and Biggie that it was too dangerous alongside being too soon to travelling to LA after Tupac's death. Literally, moments after Tupac's death, a gang war broke out between the Southside Crips (the gang responsible for killing Tupac) and Mob Piru, the same gang that Suge had many of their members on the payroll. BIG and Diddy went to LA under the false sense of security, since Tupac was dead and Suge was in jail. Moreover, they had the Southside Crips covering for them as security. So, they pretty much felt untouchable. Biggie was receiving death threats as soon as he landed in LA, and he was getting booed a lot by fans. Does this sound like someone that doesn't know? In his last freestyle with Sway, Biggie disses and mocks Tupac's death before saying he didn't care that Tupac died because he had other stuff to worry about. Word on the streets was that Biggie and Puffy had something to do with Pac's death. In the same freestyling interview with Sway, Sway asks Biggie if he had something to do with Tupac's death and he replies in a sarcastic, nonchalant manner, and laughing while saying "I am not that powerful... Yet". Even though in his lyrics, he says, "All I make is one phone call . All y'all disappear by tomorrow". Keefe D, the same person, alongside his nephew who both killed Tupac, admitted that Diddy placed a $1,000,000 bounty on Suge's and Tupac's head.
