In this week's Games Made Easy video you will learn how to play Betrayal at House on the Hill 3e better, quickly and easily too.
Betrayal 3e is a little more complicated than your average gateway game, but it's well worth learning it.
I always say I love Betrayal because it's like you and your friends are plunged into a Scooby-Doo episode. Or one of those 50’s B movies. It's a lot of fun.
Betrayal 3e is a simple and effective cooperative game guaranteed to make an evening to remember.
You'll see that every time you play the game, it's completely different. You'll have to adapt to your character, to the other players, and to the haunt.
It's great with three to six players. The more the merrier, and it'll take about an hour to play.
Tabletop games are really fun, but learning the complicated directions and rules can be a challenge. Lavinia and Peter explain the rules quickly and easily so you get to play faster while giving you all the tips you need to get better.

Thanks for another great video! Do you think it's worth getting the 3rd edition if you already own the 2nd edition? I've heard some people say that it's more streamlined and easier to teach to new people and other people say that it feels watered down a bit compared to the 2nd edition.

Thank you so much. 3rd ed is definitely more streamlined during the haunt. I have a soft spot for 2nd ed because it was the first Betrayal I played :) I have not purchased 3rd ed because a friend owns it and if I want to play it, I can borrow it.

I don't understand the following, can you make a video about these 2nd Edition thingy: 1. BITE OMEN CARD - all to know the first time you draw it and the effects it has to do on the subsequent turns. 2. SPIRIT BOARD OMEN CARD - all to know and demonstration of how the it affects monsters movements. 3. HAUNT #46 THE FEAST - How the VICTIMS are moved and complete demonstration how it is being moved by Heroes.

One question i have is how many attacks can you make in a turn? Say you had two monsters in a room with you. Can you only attack one?

The rules say you can attack one character in a room per turn. This is though before any special rules that come into play as a result of the haunt. If there are no special rules, I would think you can attack one monster.

Also, a Qu: if a player has a card that changes the attack from might to something else, say knowledge, does the other player also have to use Knowledge for their attack?
