its a pretty common storyline, though it confuses me too - 2ML is blatantly cheating, flaunting the mistress openly before he kicks FL out, but then gets angry at FL cos she starts seeing someone after they're divorced... the logic escapes me...

He was very handsome and hus character figured out her abilities because they didn't make him stupid and I loved that he fell fir her first. Mhm I feel bad for the mistress in this situation, she doesn’t have a good dad clearly and he didn’t teach her well. Though her mother is much better, it seems she just spoiled her while the dad was very strict and basically abusive (?) to her. I know nothing about Chinese families nor culture, so I cannot say this is abuse because while it may be in America, I have no idea in China. She also has a husband who is prone to give her up at some point and she has to go through the same exact thing as the FL except she doesn’t have anyone else by her side.
